Siders77
is a water bleed beter and how do you do it? step by step please! oh and are the cnc levers any good? ← Just bleed the brake normally, just with water instead of Oil (Y) :D In my opinion a water bleed feels nicer. :- EDIT: Just found this :D 1.Fill bath 2.Submerge brake 3.Undo bleed bolts 4.Attach bleed tube, but don't bother with vent tube, no need!! 5.Fill syringe with water and put on bleed tube. 6.Bleed the brake as normal, **all underwater** 7.Do it a few times to really get rid of air. 8.Remove bleed tube and do back up bleed bolts. Booster: Tektro Vee It doesn't work (Y) I need to grind my rim again, but since an accident with an angle grinder, I'm dead scared to go near a grinder again. It's even getting tempting to cheat with tar :- I also desperately need a frame with 4 bolt mounts as Evo mounts are officially wank. loffa
Lever: Silver hs33 body with RB blade Caliper: Standard black hs33 Hose: Black magura, with monty splitter, bled with magura oil Mounts: 4bolt Pads: Paaa pads(a guy over here makes them) Rim: 47mm koxx, fresh grind and tar Booster: Shimano xtr carbon, drilled to 4bolt Back in the old days when I had a d521 with a worn grind and no tar, evo mounts, paaa pads, my brake was excellent. But I've never had a good brake with the koxx rim, altough I've tried lots of different pads(coust, plaz crm, brown bloxx) and the brake is set up nice and flat. I think, that maybe it's in the rim.. I have a DX32 over here waiting for my king hub, which I hope will solve the problem. Edited June 30, 2005 by loffa
