AdamR28
We still need to see Andy fire off 6 rounds, reload, and then fire another 6 rounds in under 3 seconds though. Monkey = funny. MrMonkey
Just having a drink before riding, so I'll just fire one last reply: You even said it yourself you do it to piss people off. From the experience of people outside of your own head, all your "counter-arguements" as you call them seem to be to try and piss people off, even if you don't seem to think they are. I'm not saying "Don't speak" or anything like that, but like I said - there's a difference betwene playing devil's advocate and just being a dick. You see to cross the line most times, just because you know you can as you seem to have gotten away with it. However, it's getting well old, which is why people are warning the f**k out of you. ← Ok then, I'll stop doing it, but only if someone else does it where it doesn't involve them being a dick, I'm sorry I like to see what people's opinions are rather than the same old "Oh that's really bad let's donate" Like in the gay seal whacking thread, I don't really give a f**k about the seals, it's cruel yeah but I couldn't care less. So what, I wanted to see what people's real opinions were on the matter not just loads of the same old "How can they do that" and "I'd beat the shit out of them if I saw them doing it". If you find that interesting ok, but I sure as hell don't wanna read 30 people posting the same thing.
chrishayton
Believe me, the shape of a 9mm round being blunt and wide gives it significant loss in speed and power over long range. The tip is designed to send shock waves when entering the body to spread the force outwards and not through, meaning that although the round has difficulty entering the body, when it does, the force is sent outwards not through, leaving a wide tunnel in its wake, tapering from the entrance wound. An extreme example off this is the dumb-dumb round which is a normal 9mm round with a cross etched into the top, allowing the round to explode into shards upon entering the body and splaying out to cause more damage. On the whole, 9mm rounds, having entered the body will not exit, but will only be buried a few inchs in from the surface, and that is a close range. What I said about a 9mm round is true; Jonny Knoxville tried a similar thing from 10 metres with a bullet proof vest on. A 5.56mm firing rifle is harder to grip because of its bulk, its recoil is stronger because of the calibre, and that still doesnt give much kick. With a pistol, you can hold it with your arms locked, prviding a much better rigidity from the small recoil. And as you said, I would get more recoil from having a piss than off a .22 round, so that even furthur proves my point that its easier to fire if the handgun has been adapted to fire .22 rounds. ← right if your talking about hollow tip rounds and 'dumb dumbs', they are used in 9mm due to it being an over penetrative round, to be honest mate jonny knoxville isnt an ideal person to use as an example in technical issues. if you used a standard 9mm round which is actually a round tipped bullet then trust me its would easily go through a leather jacket, tell you what you get a 9mm pistol and put on a leather jacket, stand 50 m away from me n let me shoot you. lets just see what happens. btw where are you gettin all this gun experience from ? andyroo
I always will argue a counter point, some people still haven't realised this yet, but I don't like boring topics, I like to spice them up with swearing, pornography and arguments. Yet when I do this everything I say is automatically my beliefs, so I get called Nazi to Jesus. But some people won't understand that I don't wanna see 100 of the same post saying "Yeah I agree". So I dunno which is harder, I just know that saying one thing is harder than the other without being able to do either thing to perfection is stupid. ← Well maybe instead of posting it as your opinion you should consider starters like, "What if," or "How about this?" so you don't accidentally give people an opportunity to slate you as much? Im in air cadets and I have fired lots of weapons other than the shit you have mentioned. The worst weapon I have fired is the .22. Ive fired the L98, SA80 mach 1 and 2, PSG1 to name three. As well as flying solo in a viking and two gliders that I dont know the name of. And also I have done my Duke of Edinburgh (sp?) silver award. I've met some of my best friends at air cadets. Dont assume it is shit until you've tried it. EDIT Spelling Edited June 29, 2005 by Has anyone seen my shoe?

Not many place near where I live are good enough for pistol shooting. D-L-B
I think we can stop banging on about 'skill' since the 'targets' are right in his face. I'd assume that anyone who fires a gun as often he does would have a good feel for just pointing and shooting at that sort of range. It's not really that skillful, it's just a man pointing a gun and tapping his finger a but faster than everyone else. If that makes him feel good about himself then let him be. (As long as he doesn't tap in my direction) Dan
mat hudson
Surprisingly enough, I have. Standard 9mm rounds do not provide much recoil, in fact the power of them is so little that at 50 metres away, the bullet wouldnt penetrate a normal leather jacket. ← halflife begs to f**king differ, that pistol can take out aliens with leathery hides at quite long ranges and to be honest i trust half life more than i trust you (Y) I don't do it to piss people off← yes you do
