I had one they ride great but the 1085mm wheelbase was too long for me although it didn't make me ride crap or anything

First impression are that it is very stiff at rear end

It will feel shorter than previous frames with the same wheelbase due to smaller downtube and higher bb etc

Also stays are 375mm which is pretty short

get one you know you to

hum, how tall are you? i have a zero at the mo, which has the wheelbase of a long BMX! its got to be somewhere around 980!! it rides like a tank cos its so short.

i am 5ft 8, i am geting the long one, going by most peoples opionion of 'Longer is better!' and me ole mate has the long '05 python, which to me, feels lovely!

BUT! is the 1090 05 pitball too long for me at 5ft 8 ?? i am on a major progress streak at the mo, hence the need for better bike, obviously the shorter pitball will be easier to adjust to, but in the long run, will i wish i had gone for the longer one?

i perticually like backwheeling at the mo, and i hear the longer the frame the better it is for backwheeling (front touch stylee) and on my zero i can bkwheel 51" ,so there getin pritty high! (2.5 months ago, me highest front touch was 47"!!)

personally i think longer one... what u lot recon?

Maybe its a frame shaped like a ball? We shall never know!

its a big ball with a 26 inch diameter that you take into a big pit and kick about. Its an ancient Greek sport that was once played by the Gods and was presented to Mr PeeWee who made it into an international sport called Pitballing.

doubt it, seems like a few people have this new pitball frame too

Or maybe those people had better things to do than point out tiny errors that other people have made and thought they would try and make themselves useful to the topic starter by actually ansering there question. (because isn't that the point of TF?) He cold be dislexic (spl? (oh the irony)) and I doubt the spell checker is going to know the word 'pitbull'

Sorry mate nothing personal, its just that allot of people seem to do this (over react to tiny mistakes) on here and its becoming really anoing.

Anyway, There is allot more to take into account when picking a frame size than its wheelbase (as you probably know), for example my 24seven has a 1060mm wheelbase and rides allot shorter than my 1070mm woodman despite having similar rear end lengths. all you can do really is try riding frames or trust the manufacturers judgement.

yea, i noticed in loads of other PitbUll topics, people kept mentioning about the incorrect spelling of the name, but i never realized the difference, so to me most of the replys didn't make sense! -i no, i'm slow!

Even though, Yes, you SHOULD be answering my question (god dam you!),however, i did find this reply perticually funny!!

Maybe he means Pitfall?

Haha!

Thanks for your replys.... i shall get the LONG pitbUll in 1080 as apposed to the long pitbAll 1095 (that doesn't exist, and i realize now!)

-anyway, by saying PitbAll, how do you know i ain't just testing you??

MAGIC! >_<

I'm glad someone still has a sense of humour on here. Good on you Ryan.

Of course it will be hard, adjusting to any new frame is hard. Was hard adjusting from my T-Raptor to my Woodstock, because of the back end, yet there was only 15mm in it.

As long as when you do adjust, you like it, the adjusting period doesn't matter.
