PaRtZ
What front hub do I want boys and girls? I've got a monty X-lite mod and im after a disc on the front Cheers
Hobnobs
If you want weight saving, American Classic. If you dont want weight saving, American Classic. Mine runs smoother than a hope, its 2/3 the weight of an XC. Great hub. Although, if your over 11 stone, or consider yourself a heavy rider, then maybe go for something a tad stronger, Xc maybe. tipsy Jock
Hope Xc is the only way to go ;)
Chris Cook
Hope XC ;) Or if you got a bit of cash.... Chris King :D
Hobnobs
Dont listen to them! :D Hope XC is a good hub, with good service if it breaks. BUT, if you arent heavy, then the Am Classic is way better IMO, mine has withstood 6 months of pretty heavy riding, and about 2-3 months of a lot of frontwheel gaps. You can save weight, woo. Oh and it looks cooler ;)

SQuiT-man
American classics ;) I used to have a hope XC, they are fine, but the american classics is perfectly strong enough and a bit lighter, looks cool, and possibly a tiny bit cheaper (but dont quote me on that), and also very smooth
rickycoleman
i've just purchased a viz hub, i'm not too such about how good it is yet as i haven't ridden it, but it look's much better than any other hub. I think that front hubs dont have a very hard job to do so you might aswell go for a nice looking hub. although its a b*****d to build up. nb88
I've got an american classic, had it for about 3 months or so.... still going very strong, smooth as you like, and light ;) Also cheaper than hope considering you get a free QR with it

No problems with it what so ever.
Ali C
I had a grey classic because bide dock falsy advertised it as an american classic. I snapped off one of the tabs (that the fork sits on) and thinking it was an american classic tryed to get some spare parts for it, which obviously didnt fit. It took 4 months of trying to get spare parts for it that I realised it wasnt an american classic afterall. I ended up burning the grey classic in the fire. I now have a REAL american classic hub and I love it, best hub I have had yet.
