walker
I recently spilt a splash of oil on my front magura louise disk brake when i was bleeding my rear maggie. Since then i have cleaned the rotor numerous times with finish line rotor cleaner and i have replaced the pads. The quality of the brake has improved but is still poor compared to when it was new. What else will help? ive heard that boiling might do it, will this help? cheers, Andrew

Lee_Buchanan
Get sum sand paper in between your pads give them a rub... Then chuck a load of boiling hot water onto the disk.... Then just get a load of mucky water and soil and bash that onto.. keep adding water till it gets right again...Just ride around with it on etc. Works a treat..had to do it with mine yesterday when i got oil on mine :) Edited June 24, 2005 by Lee_Buchanan
