sammerz
Just a little thing I wanted to know because me and a mate thought differently on weather Viz grips or Foam grips are best :)"
Janson
odi ruffian > * foam works fine but rip too easily. velo/viz/koxx/tryall/monty/whatever grips are not comfortable in my eyes (or hands) and i've seen a pair wear down super fast. chrishayton
I'm using monty foam one's again at the moment and i have to say i prefer them to any other, especially for riding without gloves :)
Littleharrys
Get some thin foam grips I think, they dont tear as badley as thick ones. Harry
Ross W.
odi ruffian > * ← Thats what I'm currently using, but I'm not so sure about them. Lock on is good, never slip or anything like that, but I seem to have a hard time keeping the endcaps to stay in place. Also, the grips seem to wear out relatively fast, might look for something else next time I need new ones. :)
modrider666
I have just got some some ODI longnecks attack. They come with a built on rubber bar end and are very comfortable!. They are also known to last for ages. Try them :) Cheerz Peter :P
Tom Booth
:) Anybody know where to get the ritchey wcs true grip (foam) from? apart from wiggle as they dont accept my visa electron card :P has to be a uk shop, also anywhere outside of nottingham has to be online shopable. For the grips id recomend dmr zip grips, but as soon as your hands get sweaty they get abit poo :( Cheers Tom
mavic
£4 echo grips from selectbikes or tartybikes :) .
SQuiT-man
Get some thin foam grips I think, they dont tear as badley as thick ones. Harry ← I think its the other way round most people find. They monty grips lately seem to be getting ripped very fast by a lot of people, Ritchey WCS grips (bit thicker) dont seem to rip nearly so much
Trebor
This is a pretty daft topic, as people's views on grips always vary, hence why so many are made to cater for all the tastes. Rubber for Gloves due to sweat problems, especially in Summer with bare hands. Foam for Gloves/Barehands
RobinJI
I use Primos with the flange cut off for trials. and O.D.I. intense lock ons for jump, which are perfect rubber and design wise but are to short and fat for trials.
