Bt Ninja 365

A 20" with a 1100 wheel base, I like the sound of that would be good to see a video of somebody riding it. Maybe some better pictures would be nice to of it fully built.

Not the sure about that hole at the back of the bb shell, it does look nice though.

Like the paint job on it too look very cool.

Gaz :'(

Urrr JJ, you're basing that on what? Your "stEeL iZ Reel!!!11" Leeson? :'(

I doubt very much that any of the components of the frame are fully catalogue chosen (bar dropouts, brake mounts and headtube etc), as it's obviously had some care put into design.

Anyway, there is another topic, as Sam posted originally...

That will ride horrible.

Like a pogo stick, zero leverage.

Chainstays DO NOT need to be shorter than 380mm. Which I know is contrary to what i've said before, but is seriously true.

BTs are VERY well made frames, and alot of care goes into their design, but they're going in the wrong direction I feel.

My 2 pence :'(

Basically, I went from a T-Pro to a T-Lite. The stays on the T-Lite were a fair amount shorter (I had to take a link out of the chain), and it made it sit really nicely on the backwheel, but I just couldn't get my head around backwheeling it. This is mainly 'cos I'm 6'2 riding a piss-short mod, but basically, it's all about finding a balance. This just looks too much like a "I'm bored... hmm... I wonder how short we could make...ermm... chainstays?" frame, in a way. I know it'll have had a lot of development put in and so on, but I think it's more of an exercise of production capability more than anything else. Jeopardising the BB shell just to save 5mm of tyre clearance is a bit whack, really. I'd have thought having the weld around the edge of a hole in the frame wouldn't be shit-hot, but I'm sure you're "proud FEA" drawings will have shown up any weaknesses, assumnig you've managed to accurately do the welds...

im put off BT's just because theyre branding is terrible, I hate their stickers, their logo, their site everything.

Dont care about the frame, looks like a million others to me. people at BT - Pay someone who has a clue to make u some stickers.

I quite like that frame, and lately there havent been that many frames i like much. The only niggle with it would be that you need a special bootom bracket to fit it but if they arent too hard to get hold of then its not that bad :'( Its nice to see a slightly different frame with new features rather than all the other silver ones (i ride a levelboss and im bored with that, too short lol)

I'm not artist. If you design nice stickers which will be acceptable for 90% riders, be sure, You will receive some BT parts 4 free. :shifty:"

ummmmm, i liked BT's because they were simple and didn't copy any other brand like zoo or echo but now they have made a frame that just looks odd and as Matt said i cant imagen it having any leverage. Bt are going downhill in their frame designs in my opinion and as brendan said the stickers are terrible. stick with echo or zoo if you want a frame with a great geo and look and strength. I wonder if the paint still flakes off like on the previous frames (Y)

Well... didnt have anything as such in mind... but you know what I mean about Eastern frame building. Leeson does rule though (Y)

Don't diss that, I watch it every morning.

Wasn't dissin' the Chan Meister, I think the guy's awesome too! Was just trying to come up with a reason why Rav might have called it the 'Ninja' - obviously my idea is far from the truth >_<

I guess "as long as it rides nice then thats the main thing".. but this isn't really my scene is it :P

Sorry if I upset anybody (Y)

You're all crying bastards. Stop whining about stickers. They are f**king stickers for f**ks sake they don't effect how a bike rides. I myself had a cry about the stickers on the coust but that didn't stop me buying one. I intended to take them off but they grew on me. Not to mention the fact that I couldn't be arsed taking them off.

I personally like the look of it I'd love to try one and see what it rides like.

People here seem to be able to judge how a frame rides just by a couple of pictures.
