mink
I'm going to get an avid mechanical disc but I'm not sure if I want the ball bearing five or the ball bearing seven. From what I can see most people have the seven with the adjuster knob. I'd rather get the five cos there's some cheap front ones on ebay. Janson
BB7 is easier to adjust properly. spend a few extra quid and get the BB7!
rickycoleman
I opted for the bb5, as someone said theres 'too many' adjustments, meaning they could get knocked easily, and i don't think i'll need to adjust it too much anyway, i mean its a disk so it cant get 'that' out of line or what ever. Pork Pie
I'm sure someone's said the BB5's are theoretically more powerful anyway. I can't see it making much difference whatever you get. :'( Gotta love it. Edited June 16, 2005 by Dave Gill
JT!
7, it's a higher number, so it's got to be better. :'( I have got a Avid SD 7 leaver for sale. Matches perfectly with the avid disk. Let me know if your interested.
