Michael Hardman
Right Im thinking about swapping my Echo frame for a B20 frame. Now do the B20's crack at the chainstays like I hear about the stocks? Also can I run a bmx king hub in the b20 Ive been told by the guy I can as its the b20d (disk) frames that use 135mm spacing and the b20's use 110mm spacing. Finally are they worth getting, I want a shorter frame, this is much shorter and I like the look of them I can run my King stuff in them so from that perspective all looks good. Will Arnold
i havent seen a mod with anything other than 110mm spacing, so i doubt its 135!
Tartridge
One of the Brisas (04 i think) was 135, yep. You'll break it anyway Mike...

fairy elephants
The B20 has got the 110mm spacing, so you can run the king hub etc... My mate had one which ended up with a total of 7 cracks in i think, all around the seat tube/ seat stay join and the bb area... this may have been a one off problem with heat treatment or somthing, as it only lasted him 3 months :-
saunders
I thought the B20D had solved the problem of snapping stays. they used taller section tubing than the original B20 frame. I would get one if i rode 20", i think they look awsome!!!!
SQuiT-man
Hey saunders, you should get a mod, my monty 221 suited you when you rode it! I think the brisas are swish rides, but I think it was the b20d which had solved the problems, too.. but Im not totally sure.

Try and stay away from them unless its the Nelson Reis signiture un...tis madde out of easton rad tubing..and its GOLD :'( Didnt all of the mod brisa frames come with the 135mm spacing? Steve-A
:shifty: I went from an Echo Team to a B20 when I used to ride mod. It was the best move I made I think. I was tending towards the long low silver type of riding and bikes on my Team, and was getting bored really. I cracked my Team and wanted a new frames, so I got a second hand b20. I was such a contrast to ride and sooooo much fun. And although tyhe frame was less suited to big gaps and ups I was ridingf better as I was enjoying myself and riding more. This said it did crack on me after just over a month. Though it was seond hand, and I dont know what abuse it went through before hand. I got it welded and it lasted another month or so before recracking. But as far as I know its never broken, I swpped it for and old X-hydra to keep me going with Mr Monty, and I believe he may still be riding it, or atleast he was a few months ago. Just follow your heart :shifty:
