Bionic Balls
does it wear off? surely you could calm it down abit with some sanding? :- ..or is it well 'ard stuff? Use a big lathe? adam
Paul@Deltabikes
It was pretty hard. When I had it if you span the wheel and put your finger on it would easily cut through the skin.

IOLO
No more nails glue and sand :shifty: :shifty: ← i used no more nails to make some pads,, worked REALLY good on smooth (never ground) rim,, but durin testing my mate rode down a BIG hill and as it was on front and rear maggy, his front pads melted and spread round the rim,, then hardened again, was an arse to get off. lol but i think sand mixed with no more nails spread round a rim, (maybe drill 2mm holes around the braking suface to make the mixture grip more could help..hmm dunno,, then put wheel in frame?jig and grind its flat (true).. then give it a go... or as Ali C said he glue a crushed up sanding ball to his rim, but it was too rough,, then how abotu running super glue along the braking surface,, then just throwing or sprinkling normal beach sand on it,, hight be less hard core.. HHHHMMMMMMM !
Bionic Balls
someone else try it and tell me how it goes....i don't want to be the only one :shifty: adam

HHHHMMMMMMM ! ← :shifty: Or......Grind your rim really lightly, putting a groove on the rim so the glue and sand could stick more. Also mix the No-more Nails with the sand(or metal fillings?)to make a paste, and paste it onto the rim :shifty:
Will Arnold
does pva go sloppy in the wet? even when fully hardened? im thinking along the lines of adaldite smeared around the rim and some hard pads, i.e koxx bloxx brown maybe
