Dai the Socket
I'm 'getting' VPC 7.0 for my Mac on OS X Panther. No "oh you just wants XP 'cos it's better" or whatever. I've got quite a simple question. Will it run the PC version of MSN on my desktop, while I can use my computer normally? That's about all I'm wanting it for. Thanks, Nick Carter
Danny
Probably but it seams pointless just to run MSN. MSN 7 sucks anyway and running xp inside osx will cause lots of slowdown. A demo of what virtual pc acts like is on the site http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/virt...demo/movie.html

It shud of changed already :'(
biketrialler
The new official MSN client for Mac is out soon and is rumoured to have the enhancements you talk about included in it
Dai the Socket
Well. I've made my folder for VPC (on my external HDD) and in it's folder, it says: And I've gotta install an OS onto it. Do i need to download a special type of VPC Windows XP for it or do I have to download / buy (haha) a 'normal' version, and when I put the CD or mount the drive, It'll recognise it. Thanks for help so far
Dai the Socket
And it opens: In it's own window.
Danny
You have to install your chosen OS on it as normal
