Nitromors + Magura Seals

Hey all...

just nitromorsed my magura lever body, and slaves, and its all done now :) . I made sure i washed out the inside thoroughly so the nitromors cant damage the seals as they are plastic - but is it possible that it could corrode it or whatever? Just worried incase i should do some more washing and bleed it about 50 times to make sure its all clean :(

cheers

noz.

i left some magura cylinders to soak in nitromors, just wondering if it has knackered the internals?

Probably. Magura slaves aint even painted on the inside so just paint it on with a brush to the outside leave it about a minute and the shite magura paint comes straght off no problems.

I know there's no paint on the inside, and if there was i wouldn't be bothered cos i wouldn't see it anyway, but cos i'm lazy, i just dumped them in a pot of nitromors, i didn't have a brush handy "

But i haven't bled them yet so i don't know if they are gonna leak :'(

It's available from B&Q or any good hardware store you can even get it from Woolworths! I didn't take any precautions to be honest. But when you've stripped the paint off make sure you get ALL of the excess off otherwise the Nitromorse will eat through the new paint you put on :'(

Wear gloves and something covering your arms.  I got it up my arms once it wasnt pleasent.

Known me I would just pour it up my arm and just stand there screaming and laughing at the same time :'(

And known me if i wore glove, somehow the acid will get inside and burn my hands off again! lol
