Michael Hardman
Haha thought it was about something else! Anyway Im just bored and wonder whether people prefer smal or large rides with a small group or large group of riders. I myself now have decided if you have a descent set of riders and not many of them the rides generaly much better, better atmosphere and a closeness. I found myself epling people doing moves and also was helped back. Also wasnt sure where this belongs as I could find a reason to put it here, in chit chat and rides. Anyway addios. Burton
i like small group rides like about 10-15 people. lets people ride rather than sit and wait for someone to move. Also i hate it when there is a biggish group ride and people just come to sit and watch, or just get in the way of the section even though theyre not going to do it. N.Wood
I recon today's London ride was pretty fecking good size wise. Everyone knew everyone, a good mix of riders, from Staples right down to begginers, right down to me. Smaller rides are better for riding obviously, whats good is everyone meeting up, socialising for a bit, then splitting into lil groups. So around 20

biketrialler
I had a pretty good laugh on Sunday in Reading with just a few locals - similar levels of riding ability and styles so everyone pushes each other and have different approaches to everything. Fun as well as you get to socialise properly with just a few people, rather than saying Hi to everyone on a massive ride! hehe. Big rides seem pretty overrated from the ones Ive been on! SamHolmes
I would consider a small ride about 2-4 people and a big ride about 10 people (Y) Ive never been In a 'big' ride so I dont know wether I like it (N) I prefer more riders on a ride though :D
Josh B
I tend to get put off by a crowd a camera. So i tend to like riding in small group of same abilty. About 3 or 4 and all mod riders inculding me. Also i hate people who complain about there bikes every minute. But thats another matter. Luke Drewery
I prefer a group of about 10 people, so i guess that could be classed as small? Ill be honest i dont think i have ever been on a big group ride, only ridden out of town three times out of three years riding (N) However, i have promised myself i will travel to ride more often (Y)
Backgren
Well, I normally ride alone or with 1 or 2 other riders, who are about equally good. We've never been more than 10 riders, there aren't 10 OK riders around. We dont take beginners/small kids with us out on a street ride, since we want to ride the big stuff and actually talk. Me and Johan Brundin are helping the newbies once a week, on a naturals practice thing organized by the club. Well, help them if we can be arsed to, normally we just ride most of the time...
