HargrovesToby
hiya there, i need to get a new frame and was wondering whats i should buy. Im a streety rider that likes a bit of natural now and again. Iv got up to about £450 so im not really price botheres. Can people reccomend some frames that would be good and where to get them from!! regards, Toby
Inspired Dave
Well, for 450 you basically have choice of 90% of frames out there!! Control would be an excellent choice for something slightly more traditional in ride feel/geometry. Short one for bunnyhops and spins, or longer one for big taps and hooks . However, I would seriously urge you to consider getting a HiFi! The geometry of them makes them ride as if the bike were much lighter, even though it isn't a heavy frame as it is! Trustworthy Echo tubeset strength with awesome added stiffness etc from cnc machine bb/chainstay yoke and headtube yoke. Look the mutts and an awesome all-round bike in my opinion. The high bb will also make it more bunnyhop-able than other bikes of similar length. Benefits of flicky geometry and also long wheelbase in one gorgeous looking frame...sounds wicked :(. As for where to buy em, well, I'm not allowed to say.
HargrovesToby
cheers mate, yeah, i no where to buy them!!!! by the way, did you get an order from my mate about some spokes for a 19inch wheel, the lenghts were 177 and 180mm. he placed the order last week and was wondering if they had been sent yet. cheers people, Toby
Inspired Dave
I cant say for sure to be honest. They may have been delayed due to Adam's exams, but I'll chase them up tomorrow when I see Adam at the YMSA comp. Ask your mate to add me to msn if he can, so I can keep him updated on their progress/whereabouts .
PaRtZ
Mod or stock? Stock yeah probably as Dave said control. Wouldn't know to be honest... prefer Mod :) as for mod.... I'd say Levelboss because the long python is houwge for street. You could even get a T-pro and save yourself a hell of a lot of money  lol Dunno I guess its up to you :(
totaltrials
A HIFI, you can bunnyhop houses on them, you get so much control on them on the backwheel, it's like, "I'll put my backwheel there, then there, then onto that spike over there, yer". Ali C
I have a hi fi. I think its an amazing frame, the geo and detail are top notch, the rear wheel control is emmense. heres some pics: I fully reccomend getting one
Waynio
i would agree with IOLO on this one, iv got like proto one which has got 1070 wheelbase and to be quite honest i reckon it would bunnyhop to the moon easily. i think with the 10 degree rise it sits you up more and gives you more stability. the geo of the frame is a complete winner, iv not ridden another bike yet that has come anywhere near the one im on now apart from my 1st one i had which was an 1100, any other frame just does not compare. other people will have different opinions but to my style and how i use my bike i wouldnt think of having to use anything else as the levelboss is a tried and testeddesign for durability and strength. i like to ride at things without a care in the world and just get the bike moving, riding hard and fast at things not giving the bike any sort of rest bite. its there to do a job i only control my part and the bike supplies me with confidence and the durability/strength.
