Y.m.s.a , Carsington Pastures. Sunday

Recommended Posts

Enjoyed the comp even though it were abit cold at times (N) The sections were pretty decent. My first lap was aweful, 2nd lap was better and the 3rd lap was good. Was also good to see Hawzie n Ashton there.

Thanks to everyone who helped organise and observe!

Stan.

Woo i came 6th!! not as good as last time, although there was more people at this one and i did dab less.

I get a mention on the homepage too lol!! Was a hell of a mission to get there!! Thanks for the lift andy and beau "

Really enjoyed this comp, yeh it was windy, but i really prefered the sections. They were a lot more technical and i actually needed to use my trials skills. I found the last comp (knabb quarry) "too easy" like was just like xc courses. I know i dabbed more but that was not being used to riding on loose stuff at slow speeds, also my first comp and having 2 hrs sleep.

Really looking forward to the next comp, gonna be riding natty all over the summer.

Big thanks to Steve and co for organising it and with there help for me and my lateness...

I emailed the YMCA and got this reply...

Hi

thanx for pointing that out, I have checked on my computer and they are not

updated there either. I have mailed my web guy and he will sort it, but not

until this evening.

Championship results seem to be ok though so you can see where you came.

Steve

so inter 26" should be up in full tonight :-

2nd place in inter 26" not bad for me (Y)

ok i cant understand with john evans rides expert in this comp when he has the skill to ride master or elite, as he rides expert in the british which is probly as hard as the elite sections :-

doesnt he want to push him self or does he just like wining ?

he says he has a bad back but that was his excuse at the knabb quary comp.

anyway i wouldnt ride inter if i didnt get anywhere in expert because inters piss and im sure he feels the same way about expert, i just think hes in it for the trothy now.

he said to me that after riding the first two comps in expert he has decided to stay in red this year for the ymca, i did really really really shit, infact i have never rode so bad but still luckily won it, by one dab, could of finished below 10 i rekon!

Well i seem to be going backwards not getting better, i think ill have to get quite a lot of natty done over the summer, practice sections rather than just big moves, now all i need to do is find some natural somewhere near home, unlikely :-

Dave, don't moan too much, i still can't see any form of results due to the poor ntl dns servers

sorry if this damages your eye sight :-" the best quality i could do. There we have it then- at last.

edit- make sure you open her up and zoom in, then its slightly easier to read!

edit2- Balls! looks like they have made a mistake and Daniel Johal is 2nd and im 3rd- seems like they are the wrong way round if you look closely  Good job im the fair, sporting guy that i am (Y) Ive emailed them to let them know.

edit 3! Or maybe not, as you cant tell who got the most cleans from the info there as it only shows combined section scores not single. Thats presuming it comes down to who has the most cleans? anyway im off to London for the weekend so should be interesting to find out when im back!
