Waynio
Koxx "Hello, is that Wing dung Mow factory, for generic bikes?" Bike Factory "Yes, herro" Koxx "This is Koxx here, please can we have 500 of those frames you made for Mr Echo, bit a little different, you know with the holes in" BF "O.K, would you rike anyfing else with that" Koxx "Yes can I have a container full of Nike trainers too" BF "Let me speak to my friend, I get back to you" Koox "Thanks" BF "I put invoice in post" Koxx "OK thanks" LMFAO! yes as someone else has said why say silly things like that when its echo copying as usual???? ay dear. if the world was any more blind we will all be bumping into each other. plus i think when you look at the XTP there is alot more of the CNC or cold fordging on the frame. looks nicer again as it was the "ORIGINAL" a bit like the look of the ashton frame. tipsy Jock
Its all the same stuff with different stickers. My ES3 had the same back end as my mates zebdi, which implied its from the same jig with robots programmed to cut the same patterns, in the same tax free to foreigners warehouse in China/ Indonesia/ Taiwan etc. At the end of the day they are all 9 tubes stuck together. I just think bike companies now are more into making money than decent products. As for the steel bikes all looking alike, the twin triangle design hasnt been improved upon for over a century, also theres alot to be said for riding a bike you know someone has put together with care and skill, because they want you to be on a decent product. Robots dont have emotions yet do they? ← You talk some crap lol, the twin triangle may be preferred for street, but the coust/ashton/onza/zoo shape is pretty unbeatable in the uci world, with the obvious exception of koxx and echo which are still kind of twin triangle esque. Just because a frame is made by machines in taiwan doesn't mean that it doesn't have some thought or care put into it. Think of ashtons frame for example, thats made in taiwan yet he spent years developing that. curtis and leeson are starting to blur together, especially in the 24" but thats just trials evolution and progress :) + of course companies want to make money lol, Curtis for example charge an extra 100 over leeson yet they are both handmade in Britain. pete P.s. vince's bike is looking good, there are some hints on otn that the rims are powdercoated to match his new frame. powdercoated xtp? or whole new frame? thefletch
would i be wrong in saying this topic is f**king pointless and is just making people angry, and some of those pictures are f**king pointless. In fact Trials is f**king pointless. Why dont we all just buy a leeson and ride around in circles bumming each other all day. that way, every one would be happy. And as Leeson and curtis do, 'customising', we could all get saddles for our sore bums to sit on.

totaltrials
It is to stop the mech moving sideways.. Mine does it and I got about 3 zip ties round it... Lucky for him they made a nice little hole there for him to feed the zip tie through. ← I know what the zip tie is for, but, WHY when you can just take out the spring, it's easier than a zip tie, you dont have to use a new zippa every tip you take your back wheel off, it's looks better and you can still use all 6 gears perfectly well. Also, the Koxx frame does not have a CNC headtube, it costs too much for them, but the echos are fully CNC'd and cheaper than the XTP's. Phil. Jonny Jones
The zip is there to further stop the mech from moving up and down. The spring that controlls the left and right movement (lateral?) is quite powerfull on Tiagras and so taking the spring out doesn't actually do a lot on its own, so the tie is needed. Nice bike though... just a Koxx? Can't think of anything more to say. Jonny.

Please, somebody understand (Y) Phil.
Dr. Nick Riviera
but even on tiagras if you take out both springs it still moves everywhere so a ziptie nis needed
tom e
but even on tiagras if you take out both springs it still moves everywhere so a ziptie nis needed ← you put a washer on the bolt between hanger and mech, so it's tight - like what phil is saying, if the mech is secure against the mech hanger it wont move.
