philking
However writing about how you think its a harsh world in which everyone should waste their money on substandard products, just so you dont have to see a topic repeated again, IS out of place in the thread. ← How did i ever say that because we are paying too much for substandard products, a topic should not repeat itself? i never linked the two points in anyway. I replied to the topic in order to tell the topic starter that in my opinion he should try out the pads for himself, as this way he will get the fairest judgment of them. Thats all i wanted to say, i wasn't having a go at him... i was just offering my advice as was everyone else.

Shit pads are shit pads - if they only last for a few days, what's the point in buying them if they're only going to last a tiny amount of time? Plaz CRMs and Koxx Bloxx seem to last for eternity on a grind. This experience is shared by many people. If people impart this information, he won't go and do something stupid like buy Planet-X Sticky pads. Narrowing down the choice of a huge array of after-market pads to ones that aren't shit is a good thing. Obviously people have different experiences, but the trends are pretty obvious: Home-made pads are yet to last a decent length of time, and brown Koxx Bloxx are yet to wear down in 3 rides... You are right. but surely that information could be found out from the pad reviews? Anyway, enough said from me as i can see people don't want to hear it. Waynio
Heatsink "Konig" pads not many people have use to them, i have and a few others my brake was awesum even at back qown sunday when the rim was full of crap and the grind was wearing off. there the best pad iv used in a long time JUST before i got my konig i had koxx red pads on for a day or two and they were awesum!they took bout 10-15 mins to take the crap feeling off them with them being cut across the pad. but i have to say i was impressed for the day or so i had them on. but the "Konig" are out of this world. i cant even be bothered re-grinding my rim as the pads were working that good without a grind!!!! Waynio........................... Different people will say different pads, just off what iv used (iv never used the coust pads or the rim jams BUT have heard horror stories bout the rim jams, but the coust ones most people are happy with)
