GuyJames
**corny tv shopping voice** and it is an easy wipe surface for when that evil grime gets on it, all this and more crap for only £99.95 the "crap" is not refering to the booster, looks cool, good work (Y) Guy
Punkrider
I wasn't sure if to drill it or not, would it weaken it? It ways 142g at the moment (Y) Adam
Brian Bleech
It would be better if you used coloured plastice (Y) looks decent though

Punkrider
Is it me or is that not "quite" symetrical" :(" Does look rather pimp though :D ← Yeah it is symetrical, its just the photo, i used a template, that was designed to keep it symetrical (Y) Adam
Ben Geary
that looks groovy, iv'e been wanting to make a booster but i've never got the time, well anyway mate i like your project keep um coming. thanks, ben
Tomm
Looks nice, but 142g for a booster that doesn't need to be there is a bit silly. Plus I don't reckon that's a very good material to be using...

Punkrider
I just saw the perspex, and thought, i have nothing better to do (well except revision (Y) ) So i tried different designs on my bike, 3 hours later, you have a booster  Do you think it would weaken it a lot if i was to drill it? Chris Cook
I just saw the perspex, and thought, i have nothing better to do (well except revision :P ) So i tried different designs on my bike, 3 hours later, you have a booster  Do you think it would weaken it a lot if i was to drill it? Adam ← I don't think it will weeken it at all ! I think that looks well cool (Y) Put it on the back or make one for the back. Then it will be well good. DRILL IT ! good work
Simon
i think u should put it on the bk with a magi an tell us what eh flew is like " ← You tool. This is what it would be like on a rear magura. Do you think it would weaken it a lot if i was to drill it? ← Any other material, no, but as your using perspex i wouldn't really recommend it. You need all the mass you can get in there for it to actually be on any use, and i'm not even sure if that is going to be, but hey, as you did it to pass by the revision time and taking a break from it, good on you. Could of made it more symmetrical though. (Y)

OD404
I just saw the perspex, and thought, i have nothing better to do (well except revision (Y) ) So i tried different designs on my bike, 3 hours later, you have a booster  Do you think it would weaken it a lot if i was to drill it? Adam ← Simply drilling holes in it will invariably weaken it, how much is hard to say though. Same goes for any material, the hole prevents stresses travelling through the material properly and causes them to build up around the hole. It's much better to mill away material leaving an i-beam shape (as previously said) or to leave it alone. As for putting it on the back, it might work, perspex is actually pretty stiff, but does break quicker than say steel or aluminium. If it's thick enough it could well work as a rear booster. I have to say that although as a part it looks nice, but I'm not a fan of boosters on the front
Punkrider
How would i go about making an I-beam? To drill or not to drill, that is the question, some one help me  Adam
OD404
Unless you have access to a milling machine I'd leave it as is.

mat hudson
as it really isnt doing anythig you should drill accross in a cheker patern so there are lots of long thin tubes going through the booster then fill them with red ink(Y) (Y)
