Haz
I was doing AQA Double award, but all three subjects were in one paper. One of the Questions was awesome: "Contraceptive pills for women have many advantages and disadvantages; The woman has to remember to take the pill everydayThey do not provide protection against STDsThey are 99% effectiveThey can be used to control the menstrual cycleDifferent hormones will work better for some than othersList two positive things. _________________________________________________ List two negative things. _________________________________________________" You got 4 marks for that, copying! The only thing I forgot was the gland in the brain that makes FSH, which I remembered at the last minute to be the pituitary gland. Which made me happy, because it was easy. But there was loads of Chemisty And Physics Q's aswell, but Science is piss, no worries. :D I actually think most of the exams I have taken have been relativly easy compare to what I was expecting. Not that I have done any Maths or History yet. (Y) Haz

Josephine
what the f**k was that giraffes question about ? ← At a guess (I did my GayCSEs last year) it was about how short giraffes went hungry when tall giraffes were about and so didn't get laid causing only tall giraffe babies to be born. Or natural selection by environmental factors or something more intelligent sounding... Joe

Was truely weird, but I pretty sure I got it right. I really hate the questions that say 'Use your best english and write in a sensible order.' n0t 1m g0nn@ rite lyk t]-[15 @/\/\ 1?????? MrMonkey
You'll pass most of your GCSEs if you have a gram of intelligence, don't worry about them. But worry about making the right choice for you for the next however many years of your life. If you want to do GCSEs all over again but 100 times harder do A Levels if you aren't sure do A Levels (easisest way to go, I did this and have recently changed my mind after this year) But put alot of thought into it, and what you're going to do if you do your A Levels. I didn't and made some bad choices and this year has been absolute shite because of it.

Don't be stupid... Haz ← Haha I know what you mean. I must of come across so f**king stupid though. My handwriting's really wank, and I kept refurring to stuff as 'it' and 'that' and not identifying it, merely because I didn't know the technical name for it lol. Best get off anyway. I'm going biking. Been revising Maths for like erm, half an hour. Meh, There's time tomorrow (Y)
James_Porter
"in 1920 a teacher was taken to court accused of teaching evolution in tennessee" "why was the teaching of evoloution banned by the goverment in 1920 then re-introduced in the 1930's?" did anyone get a question like that on the biology paper? was the very last question on our paper. didnt have a forking clue, found out it was something to do with it telling something the bible didnt teach or something, ie religion...again (Y) i can never tell how i do in exams, rather not think about it :D . rickycoleman
Don't know if you got told (mod661) but paper one of science higher is on : inheritance & selection waves and radiation structures & bonding i know ts a bit late now, but weren't you told that before>? thats how most people knew what to revise... i had geography today too, found it really quite easy, the hardest paper so far had been P.E. i really wasn't expecting it to be like it was. Trials Tom
I had Biology today, I think it was pretty easy, although I was expecting a really difficult question to come up but it never did. It's actually still illeagal in some states of the US. (Y) Haz

I printed it off, and the third question, about LCM - Lowest Common Multiple actually doesn't make sense. I've checked all my books, gone through the number's Factors etc etc and it doesn't work out. It seems a tad harder than I expected. I hardly knew anything. I've been revising upto now, tonight. And i'm waking up at 7am tomorrow, revising until 9am, then goin to school at half past after my breakfast. Revising Maths on the bus. Meeting my mate at 10.30, then revising maths until the exam. I think i'm going to ask my teacher if he's free to talk me through some of the Sin cos tan graphs and stuff. I was away and reallllly don't get them! Only just refreshed my memory of the rules/laws of indides! Eek! ← Yours is different to mine. I'm pretty sure. I do separate papers with loads of topics in. Section A's questions you have to answer. Section B's there's like 8 and you pick the ones which you're strongest in / your teacher has prepared you for. I did River, Coastal and somethingelse landscapes. They were ok. I did P.E. a while back, my second exam I think. It was uber uber uber easy. I literrally knew every question. I'm doin' it with Edexcel and it was just easy! I knew like atleast 90% of them, so i'm hoping that's going to be an A or A* if i'm lucky (Y) I really enjoy PE though, and it's not the short course. So I didn't mind revising it at all. Also, my school's PE teachers are gay and teach it to A-Level, so they say, so when we come to the exam we find it piss easy. Meh :D :(
