Danny
My pads are gone, i think i may invest in bloxx. Heatsinks: 7 days - £14 = (Y) Bloxx: 365 days - £18 = :D ← Do you ride arround a lot dragging the brake? 1 week seams crazy compaired to over peoples wear rates. Hobnobs
No, i cry if people ride my bike because thats all they do. I make sure i never drag my brake, i used koxx yellows for 6 months so they would have died if i did. Edited June 9, 2005 by Hobnobs
Dai the Socket
Well I got them a while ago now and they've worn a little. It is slightly disappointing but the compound he's got is really good. If he can get additives into the mould which reduce pad wear rate, but keep the compound, then he's DEFO onto a winner. It's a really good brake and I trust it a load  But I'm thinking it'll only last another month or so. Nick
Waynio
that seems strange about your pads "hobnobs" just have a word with steve altho he is wanting to try get the pad compound to be a little bit more durable but the softness of the ones he has i personally feel that id rather pay £14 and have a brake that works and keeps me alive. just my opinion though. i really wouldnt want to be falling off a rail gap a few feet in the air and coming down on my ass or back due to my brake. mine are still going strong they must be 3 maybe 4weeks old and they are probably only 1/4 worn, they have done quite alot in this time too at least 4-5 rides a week, 1 was a competition and the rest was a bit of street and a bit of natural too. Waynio......................... at least were getting feedback from all over the board and that people are being honest about them. cheers people............
