OK so lots of people have a soft spot for the BT 5.0, and don't want to switch to the high BB and long wheelbase of the BT 6.0. Mindful of this, BT has released (quietly) the 5.5 edition, with a few tweaks, but maintaining the essence and feel of the 5.0. I got mine today, built that beastie up, rode it, and took some pics. so on with the pics. Gloss white powder coated. Also routing for full cabling/hydro cabling.

Exlpaains it basically. Good idea I think for those who dont want bb rise or anything.

Edit : BT guy posted on there its an old BT 5.0

OK OK - I thought I could pull it off for a day at least.

Rav's right, he didn't make this (sorry to alarm you Rav). It's a standard bt 5.0 modified with an 8" specific disc mount and a hydro cable guide by Jon Weaving the Spectacular at Gripsport (victoria, Australia) www.gripsport.com.au .

Total price, including powder coating, shipping, gusset, cable guide and disc mount was $292au / $221us.

I'm very happy with the work, it's truly top notch and his experience in playing with aluminium frames shows. He's put disc mounts onto a fair few trials frames (and other frames), and none have ever failed so...there you go.
