Dan6061
'ello all, The bearings in the top sealed case of my headset have fallen apart and I have lost basically all of the bearings because I'm stupid and didn't keep them safe. I've tried cutting up a cable tie and putting it in the bearing case but that doesn't work as it makes it really stiff to turn. I have no money at the moment and the headset bearings from my old headset are too big. Plus there isn't a local bike shop around here. Is there any way I can temporarily bodge it until I can get some money? (Saturday 4th June [my b'day (Y) ] Oh yeah, THIS is what headset I have. Dan6061
I live in a village. The only shops are: Post Office, Bakery and a Co-Op I don't think they sell bearings...

Buckingham has 2 bike shops, numerous car garages, a hardwear store and a builders merchent.. Bicester has 2 bike shops, and a halfords, and loads of engineering places..
