Endohopper
Wasn't there a safety recall on these a while back ? Seems like a good lid .
BONGO
They are unavailable. They failed the British blah blah safety test. (The old bucky one anyway, white/red straps) They are still available for watersports, so try wake boarding places. You can buy Bucky laseks new sig helmet, which is polystyrene inner like all protecs now, but I doubt it's what you're after. Most decent bmx shops have them if you do want one though. john
Dr. Nick Riviera
theyre just foam and plastic , they were all recalled due to " short change " finding they were unsafe

rich4130
Apart from the red straps this is the same yea? (Y)
BONGO
nope. polystyrene inside. Call ALANS. I happen to know they have a few left that 'accidentally' weren't returned. I didn't tell you to call, and you didn't get them from there <_< john
Tomm
Is it just me, or is it a bit silly to be trying really hard to find a helmet that has failed British safety tests <_<

BONGO
Is it just me, or is it a bit silly to be trying really hard to find a helmet that has failed British safety tests :) ← The test that it failed, was the piercing test. where they clamp the lid and hit it with a big nail. If it pierces it, it's failed. john
TheCircus
Ah, so not anything serious then. :)
ScotchDave
The odds of a big nail sticking out at the right angle to pierce the helmet are quite low, come on how like;y is it.

011001000110010101110010
The standards must be pretty low judging by some of the helmets at halfrauds that say they have passed... In my opinion helmets are 50% pyhscological and 50% protective. :) I'm, sure you'll be find. Edited June 3, 2005 by derf
