trials_pimp
Right, ive got a pretty good audio setup in my Capri, but Im thinking of removing the whole lot, and just having nothing. If I remove it, I will instal it all in my BMW. Now I dont drive the Capri everyday, and the BMW I do. Im thinking of removing all audio from the capri, to give it a more sporty feel, and to save some weight. Also, just to make things in the car alot simpler. I will probly just put the original tape player back in and leave it standard. The BMW has a CD player, and 2 average speakers, now I would have no problems installing it in the BMW. Ive asked a few mates, and there seems to be a 50 - 50 divide between those who agree, and those who dont. Some say do it, it makes sence, and some say leave it in, as its the nicer car, so have the nicer stereo in it. So Now i place this in your hands. RyanRs
go for it. BMW 's are lazy mans cars and not perticually built for speed, but instead for cruizing! so the sound system will suit it nicely. where as, strippin the gear from the capri would greatly benifit in handling and acceleration from the weight loss! Go for it buddy!

RicH_87
swap it over, might as-well if you use it everyday.
downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
swap it over!! For some reason, when you take everything out of a capri till its only the bare minimum, it feels alot nicer!! (roll cage, bucket seats... nitros button, aliminuim dash.) zoojames
Yeah Lee put all your gear in your BMW, might as well if you'll use it more! Burn around in the capri with a tape player looking proper old school, then cruise to your favourite country blues in the BMW :) James (Y)

endofreak
Stick it in the BMW. It should have a higher quality interior which in turn should give you slightly better sound quality.
trials_pimp
It should have a higher quality interior Dude, you have just insulted me to no end. My Capri has a one off, custom made interior, one of a kind custom trimmed black Recaro sports seats, Black Vynal and Shag carpet door cards, deep pile black carpet. The BMW has some bogoo standrd interior in it. Which is better?

How was I to know that your Capri had a custom interior.

downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
Arent bmw boots sealed off from the rest of the car? if so your sub wont sound too good ← Yes it will! if you have a subwoofer for a surround sound, whack it upstairs in your house, then put it on the floor, so its booming, then go down stairs and see if you can here it.... If you live in a flat, put it in another room and shut the door. the bass is a low pitch bang, so it travvels through loads of stuff.... beleive me, it booms!!! Simon
its true. ← Not seen the new M5 then, or the old one for that matter. Lee, you know it makes sense to put it into the BMW. Theres so much more room aswell, so you can expand it. :) What about your bike and such though? No more of that 6 bikes in the boot at once.
