I hate quoting pictures but thats a joke, the pads are too high on the rim and angled all wrong so they've worn all gay. Move the whole lot down a couple of mm and either let it bed in again or sand it flat. Move the pads in closer as well because from one of your other pics your using a shocking amount of tpa which is going to cause the pads to round at the ends meaning they will rock in the mounts and wont give full contact.

Im sure there are a million posts in the faq about how to set up pads, if your having trouble go for the ole stick a cd in between the pad and rim jobbie.

Sorry to sound like a hater.. but its awful.

No problem. I kinda explained my situation earlier. That's with my rim moving LOADS during the ride, They were set up perfect, with a 2p coin between the rim, but the wheel moved left, so I had to bodge the brake quickly, so I could keep on riding. Sorry If i didn't spend 2 hours setting up my brake when I was out riding (Y) I'm not willing to do that.

The hosing and spacer on the maggie won't let me turn it any further towards it's horizontal. So that's the best It can be, at the minute.

Christ.

Dont be sorry,

but it doesn't take two hours to set up a brake.

I really dont see how two bits of plastic tube and a plastic spacer are stopping you from straightening a magura out, unless your arms resemble that of small innocent newly born baby?

No. But firstly, I can't set up brakes very quickly or well. As my old one was set up perfect, then left.

The Spacer is f**ked and mangled inside the mounts, and around the maggie. Also my wheel keeps moving, left, right, but mainly left. And it won't set up straight. It's not particularly well set up, as It's in my garage at the moment, and i'm going to be fitting my new booster soonish. So i'll have another go then.

It seems i've got to be 'sorry' as my brake setting up ability's aren't up to the phenominal ones you seen to have obtained.

Meh.

At no point have i claimed to have phenominal brake setting up skills.

At no point did i ask for you to be sorry.

Just wanted to let you know your brake wasn't set up good at all, regardless to your wheel wobbling about they could still be pointing in the right direction yadda yadda yadda...

Also since were picking on eachother:

I haven't used any tar on them, merely because I haven't needed to. I put some on Yesterday... blah blah..

Your a liar.

Don't you mean "You're a liar.", rather than "Your a liar". As you're meaning " You are a liar "?

I meant to put " Hadn't ", but as i'm revising, video editing, on MSN and tired, while typing quickly on Trials-Forum, I made a word error. I don't believe that can be classed as 'lying'.

Also I've spotted atleast three grammatical or spelling errors.

So you can't say f**k all.

f**k all,

I dont want to get in to arguments with you i was merely voicing an opinion, being dyslexic i thought i would have been given a break on trials forum. As you can see in my signature i already have a spelling word list which i commonly type wrong. ill remember to add the ones you have already pointed out to the list at some convenient time.

Being a liar is one thing, but picking on a dyslexic for his grammer is really low (Y)

i may have put my view in this topic before but im going to say it again after using these pads for longer now.

everything steve has said above is true this guy doesnt lie about anything.

i was speaking to him a while back when he was sorting out the process of making new pads etc, and he said it was costing him alot of money and they would be worth it. i had all faith in this guy and when they arrived thorugh the post i wasnt disappointed.

now i have been using them for about a week and a half these are trully amazing.

do they grip when needed? yes they grip more than what my zoo pads did and if you read my views on them i couldn't rate them enough. these are better!

do they offer a bit of modulation? well yes and no. they dont bite straight away but that may be the way i have set them up.

is there any sign of movement in the backing? when i got these in the post the first thing i did was give them a little pull to see if there was any movement. there was none at all and i was very pleased to see this.

thanks ian

and if anyone insists on abusing these pads why dont you pm him and tell him why they arnt good so then he can re-devlop a new lot of pads at least he is making an effort to make cheaper afford able and better pads than other companys.

and dont use these on a grind if you want them to last. and it is summer anyways so a grind isnt that vitale anyways

Hmm... I'm sorta going off the Konigs now (Y)

When I first put them on, I noticed the spongey feel of them. I thought it must've been the brake, but with the Koxx greens on it felt nicely solid. Soon as the Konigs were on, it sorta went soft. That's 8mm of soft-ish pad material I guess. But yeah, I was willing to try nad learn to like the amount of sponginess due to the awesome bite and hold.

Unfortunately, that seems to be going now too :) It still sorta locks and stuff, but no better than the Koxx greens. At first they were super, but now they're just... hmm.

I'll give them a proper ride tomorrow, but it's not looking super promising from my point of view about what I'm looking for from my back brake.

When I had some Heatsink Whites sometimes they never worked which I never knew why so I thought I would clean them with boiling hot water, you would not believe the amount of dirt that came of the pads. Also do the rim as well you will be suprised with how much dirt comes off.

Set them up again if they have moved on a recent ride and they should work like new  :D ( Worked for me )

Gaz :D

I've got a really light grind and after half a day there is loads of red dust over my frame from the pads. I guess its probably them wearing in but i think they may be short lived.

Its a real shame because they locked crazily well. Better than my zoo greens on the grind which lasted 2 days. lol!! The zoos are softer but the heatsinks are alot better. :)

I may need to get some other pads though as these aren't going to last very long at all i reckon. Anyone else been running theres for a while on a grind? I'm scared because £14 for a few days is gay. Just like zoo pads on a grind = <_<
