TrialsBoy22
I hear the new Heatsinks are moulded and not glued like the CRMs, does this make it a better pad? HOw do the compounds compare?(ie grip, noise, durability, life)

MADBob
Ok, I've used plaz for about a year now (single pair) on a medium grind. Great grip in the dry, not that good in the wet, but they dry off fast. Mostly silent with my setup. Only a small amount of pad wear over the year. My pads are still stuck to the backing, so I don't really care about molded/glued etc. Hope that helps
Mr Motivator
Plaz CRM no doubt about it. Heatsinks are good though so dont dis' them  Yeah the glue in plazzies is kinda poop, but i wouldnt worry too much as theres loads of material in the backing. ian
new heatsinks are trully amazing. im running mie on a smooth rim with no tar and the grip is amazing
Urpedigreechumdog
new heatsinks are trully amazing. ← Yep, i'm running mine on a crappy grind, i usually have to stick a bit of tar on it for the pads to be good, but with the new Heatsink Konig's, there is no need, it's like there is already tar on the rim, but there isn't :) The grip is truely immense. matthewholdsworth
never used heatsinks so cant comment on them, but my plaz crms are amazing. on the street they hold on rails no probs, and as for natural, problems with rock cambers are only down to my sodding tyres folding,
Hobnobs
New heatsinks. :) (Y) Amazing pad, mine went a bit shoddy today, but set them up straight again, and they are wicked! Better than koxx yellows, and theyre soft as pig poo. Only thing im worried about is pad wear, theyve worn 2mm in 2 days, but i think its just the pad bedding in. Mark W
In the short space of time between me getting my replacement T-Pro and me having to send it back, I managed to use the Heatsinks for about 3 hours of riding. Shit me, they're a bit good. I've got Plaz on the front and Konigs on the back, and there's a quite large difference between the feel of the two pads. The CRM's kinda hold, but don't have a LOT of initial grab, but the Konigs just grip and hold. It feels like you've got an inch of tar on there, but without any tar on (and they don't stick to the rim :)). Really nice. Again, can't comment on wear. However, the moulding means a better quality pad and fit. The Koxx Bloxx I got had rough edges around the 'face' of the pad from where they'd been cut. The Konigs are a lot higher quality... downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
I have the new heatsinks, absolutly amazing pads!!! grip to fook, and dont slip. One has wore down at a real bad angle due to have been round on the end when received, but the other is still perfect.
