Mr Motivator
Started today. Erm only when I pedal and let it freewheel along and go over slightly bump ground (well, just a normal road) it obviously makes the king noise but it rattles. I think it is my king, but not really shure what it could be? :S Cones are tight, and I serviced it yesterday morning so thats ok. Did go ride some natural today but dont think itl really be dirt. Hmm, Sam :turned:
ScotchDave
are you sure it's the king, because noises can travel in the frames tubes making it confusing as to where the creak is coming from. I once heard of a rider who couldn't figure out where the creak in his head tube was coming from. Turned out there was a bit of grit stuck in his seatpost. :turned:

ScotchDave
Take off the back wheel and drop it so it bounces and see if it makes the nose, then work from there eliminating everything.

ScotchDave
Nowt wrong with the odd creak, but I'd hate my bike to rattle. Check if the jockey wheels in your mech or tensioner are tight?
