Havn;t played with it in ages as there alot of hassle and the weathers been pretty poor! Going to get it out soon though, good summer fun! A lot of money spent on that thing! As it's so small and defined things quite often go wrong, getting it so start is a challenge in itself!!! May smack some pics up if I get it out! What car have you got?? Bodged together all the bits to get it working and damnnnn they are fun. Just the random trying to clear stairs thing miss the tyres on my car as i speed under. They are just qualityyyyyy. scott-mad Posted May 26, 2005 Author Report Share Posted May 26, 2005 (edited) erm well i had a kysho landmax 4wd with a .21 racing engine in had composite brake disks and all this mint stuff but then it was too fast and loud and too much hassle so bought a nice fast battery one a tamiya sumat or other goes quite fast and i put loads of lecky tape round the tyres and went driftin! so much fun! I tend to go for vintage tamiya cars like Top Force and Dyna Storm but have had a couple of nitro ones, (HPI rush and some random kyosho rally car). (Y) I'll see if i have some pictures on my PC of the ones i currently have... EDIT: Gonna sell the scooby soon along with my HPI rush. Was planning on making it an escort but can't find a decent shell. The skyline was the first touring car tamiya ever made and started the touring car phaze that's still going today and the Dyna storm is my 'backyard basher' when i can be bothered to charge it up. Matt_Tupman Posted May 26, 2005 Report Share Posted May 26, 2005 I used to race quite a bit but it got to bloddy expensive (Y) that was about 4 years ago so what did I do :o start trials and that has cost even more money :- My brother is big time into this stuff, he's got 5 or 6 cars not sure it changes all the time.
