dave33
Why not just say that you're having to make sure your ti spokes fit in the build at the beginning? Have a look for yourself on CRC, they have lots and lots of rims, you're sure to find one in between Echo and 521 width :S If all else fails, you could probably sell your ti spokes and get some normal ones (which will be just as good) and have a choice of whatever rim you like - I'd personally go for a Ronnie/Echo rim. ← yeah i been looking all mornin at different rims but not much luck with specs they hardly lish the widths, found a few, no im not selling my ti spokes and normal ones wouldnt be just as good thus why i have ti spokes. im al most sure that my spokes will be to short for the echo/ronnie although i dont know the edr at least thats helps a bit cheers (Y)
ScotchDave
Just curious, whats better about the ti spokes?
Tony Harrison
As I wrote in my PM, a D521 will easily fit. A 38mm rim goes in those frames without any trouble. Ali, any idea where you can get the Tioga rims from?

Tony Harrison
They only has 'disk' ones, but thanks anyway.
ScotchDave
Thats because all Tiogas are disc rims, you have to grind em to make them work for rim brakes. EDIT, typo. :"> Edited May 26, 2005 by div
trialkid
Dave get the ronnie, they are really nice and kyles was light and strong as f**k. you know how fat he is n it took some serious beatings. also they are not that wide but wider than the sun a tiny bit i think. or just get the sunn, kyle runs them now on his leeson 24inch and they seem really light and very strong. joe b
Even though i don't ride 26" hence knowing not much about it, i do know how good waynios brake is on an echo cnc rim. IT was faaahookin immense. They are very hard too so they will, with a proper wheelbuild, be strong as fook... Cheers, Joe.
