JIX
I have bought new pads for my Hope mono trial, and so I went to fit them, removed old pads and tryed to push the pistons back in to the caliper. But they wont go back in. I phoned hope and they told me a very complicated way to get them in, involving silicon grease, removing some fluid and was very complicated. He said it might of had to much fluid in it, but they come fully retracted so I cant see how that could happen. Has any one had this problem and/or know a solution? Thanks for your help. Tartridge
What exactly are you trying to do? The thing Hope said, thats for when your pistons actually fall out of the caliper. Are you just trying to push the pistons back in order to fit new pads?
JIX
Yeah, I have new pads, so you need to push them in so they are flush with the caliper. But they wont go in.

JIX
Srewdriver, tyre lever and pliers. I have put a mulgrip around one to keep it there and tryed to push the other side in but it doesn't move.
Tartridge
Flip your bike the right way up, take front wheel out. Secure forks so they dont move about. Adjust lever so the reservoir cap is parallel with the ground. Take cap off reservoir. Wrap rag around the lever to catch any spillage. Try again now, using a ring spanner, as directed in your manual.
