Krisboats Posted May 22, 2005 Report Share Posted May 22, 2005 hi all, i snapped the axle in my rear dmr revolver the other week and it's been in the bike shop for 2 weeks now. They got the new axle from dmr but the only problem is that they have put in an axle without the allen bolt threads inside. I have no QR skewers lying around at home and i preffered the allen key bolts anyway. Should i just get a decent skewer like a hope or something or take it back to the shop? only thing is i don't want to wait another 2 weeks for them to put a new axle in, or will they have a tool to put a thread into it? I assume it is m6 x 1mm since most other hub axles (bolt on) use that (apart from profile and king). maybe someone else knows? seriously...your friend's dad probably has the right tap is his garage (or something...) ask around. adam Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
