Caburys Posted May 21, 2005 Report Share Posted May 21, 2005 Hi All, I got my new rear wheel today and i'm going too fit my single speed kit, its a dmr one, i'm not too sure what way round is right. I put it the way round that it says on the packet. :D Can you lot help me please? This is how i've fitted it: Is that the right way round? Thats how it says it is but i'm not 100% sure. ScotchDave Posted May 22, 2005 Report Share Posted May 22, 2005 The spacers are uneven so that you can tune the bike's chainline. Put the wheel on your bike and see if the chain is roughly in line with the sprocket. If it isn't and is too far over to the right, then switch the spacers round. If you can't get a decent chainline with that set up go get old cassettes of the cheap variety, and remove the pins and use the spacers to get a good chainline. :P Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
