Mr Motivator
:( How does that work then? Sam
Nick Garland
You put the booster on the frame then put everything else on top. The elbows on the old models were replaced by just having a thread on the end of it which sits in the booster. If you get me.
Trebor
It's because of the EVO2 mounts, they made them like that so you could have (in theory - I wouldn't know myself) a stiffer back brake using that booster. Edit: I'm completely and utterly wrong :(
Joe Papasnap Maher
:( How does that work then? Sam ← Correct me if im wrong, but im sure that booster only goes on certain forks...(manitou's i think) Could be wrong those as i saw someone at ymsa with a booster like that.. who knows :(
Nick Garland
Your thinking of the RAT booster, thats a standard booster that comes with every 2005 mag.
Joe Papasnap Maher
Your thinking of the RAT booster, thats a standard booster that comes with every 2005 mag. ← Meh, i no nothing, i just ride trials :(

JT!
It dosn't look like its going to be very stiff :(
Nick Garland
Its not, lol, you can bend it in your hands.
totaltrials
It's not stiff, and it's not a booster to stop flex, all it is, is another way of clamping the magura down, so the bolts push against the booster not the frame, it's all a swizz, it's not a "brake" booster at all. Phil.
Tomm
Looks like a good idea to me. Anything to get rid of those b*****d plastic elbows. If I'm thinking right it just means you attach the brake by the usual canti studs. Put a normal booster on top if you like :(
Nick Garland
Bingo! It kidn of acts likea four bolt mounting system in a way as you can only slide it up and down using the booster thingy.
Tomm
Although actually, thinking about it, it would mean there is actually f**k-all adjustability :(
Gandalf the Yellow
who knows, i guess its time to download the .PDF file from the magura website to examine how this funky piece of new mount works,..... i know elbows sucks, but this seems....crap. too.
