grantham
Just wondering if its possible to cut down the 'handle' on a grip shift as i find its in the way and sometimes accidently shift while i am riding as my hands are too big. Just wondering it will still work if i chop it down a bit?
Tomm
Should do. I did it once with an old SRAM one and it worked fine. Basically all the workings are housed in the cm or so nearest the stem. So as long as you don't cut into that bit you'll be fine :( Although it'd probably be worth checking that your one is the same as mine was before you start hacking it up :(

totaltrials
Just simply get a hacksaw and saw the ass end off, Ive had a shifter for 3 years when I done that, and without the plastic washer betweent he grip and shifter, works fine.
