STEVE-0
Either this: http://selectbikes.com/shop/description.php?prodid=39# or this: http://www.vizbikes.com/newhub.html also, does anyone know about weights, i think the viz is lighter due to the alloy. cassette body but the echo may be stronger? and Does anyone know if you can use a screwer on either of them? and if they come of bolts? ECHO = £66 V!Z = £65 feel free to tell me about any others around that price OR I COULD SEND MY OLD HUB TO SUPER CYCLES, GET THE BROKEN BIT FIXED FOR ABOUT £10-15 AND TRY AND FIX IT UP AGAIN? STEVE-0
They look pretty febal though and they have an 8 speed cassette, instead of a 6 speed. The reason that i want a 6 speed is that i thought that i could save alot of weight in this area.
Mark W
8 speed cassette body just means you've gotta get some carbon fibre spacers (think: Whitehurst (Y)) and bosh them on there to make up the room.
Matt_Tupman
8 speed cassette body just means you've gotta get some carbon fibre spacers (think: Whitehurst :P) and bosh them on there to make up the room. ← Does Whitehurst still actually exsist (Y) I thought they stopped production last year?? STEVE-0
Im thinking of getting the V!Z because i kinda like the look of it and thechink says they're well nice. anyone agree?
Tomm
Im thinking of getting the V!Z because i kinda like the look of it and thechink says they're well nice. ← Does he really? (Y) Whatever way you look at it, £66 for a fixed hub is a total joke. Aren't they just standard quando efforts anyway?
Bionic Balls
yes...they are just rebranded crap...but where can you buy it from before it is branded? woodman hubs on bikedock there's actually quite a few woodman hubs on the page above, cheapest ~ £40 Perhaps get a really cheap shimano one and lock it? Might be heavier, but easy to get parts for (Y) adam

Tartridge
the echo comes with ali bolts with rounds very easily (Y) ← The Echo hubs come with chromed steel bolts.
dave85
The Viz one looks suspiciously like the echo in a lot of ways, I wonder if it shares the same design flaws :P (oh, and what's wrong with your current hub? (Y) )

totaltrials
The latest Echo hubs, come with wide flange spacing for wide rims, which gives a stronger wheel build, stronger material and design for the freehub and comes with bolts and washers. thechink
i think the viz hub rules. i have used a tryall hub and the bearing died well quickly. once i got the viz out of the box you could spin the hub and it would spin a few times before it stoped. there was absolutely no resistance in the bearings. the try all hardly spins. i know what i like and its white...erm i mean viz viz viz thechink
