Waynio
the plaz pads are supposed to be SH!T hot for bmx bikes, as the compound is softer. Waynio............................ i thort there was only one compound in the v-pads?iv got a bag in front of me and the only ones i have are: Yellow plaz magura pads Clear spanish fly magura pads then what i called plaz v-pads which are clear in the colour of the spanish fly compound?id say the colour is a little bit lighter though than the spanish fly magura Edited May 19, 2005 by Tartridge

Fishwog
CRV = V-brake version CRM = Magura version Spanish flies are better for chrome BMX rims. I don't have a clue about the yellow ones, but Flies work fecking brilliantly.

Mr Motivator
Plaz CRV/M = Brilliant on grind in dry Plaz Spanish Fly = Crap on grind in dry, better than CRV/Ms in the wet.

Spanish V Fly's are what Im looking for then

Spanish V Fly's are what Im looking for then ← Erm well hang on.. Iv used both. My CRMs are the best pads out of all the pads I have ever tried (koxx, viz, kool stops etc and so on) Only get the spanish flys if your riding only comps and natural. The crms are ok under a little moisture but not as good as the spannishs. I think youl find it nicer to have the extra hold and bite of the crms to be honest and on street the crms will serve you amazingly. Add me to msn or something if u like (Y) Infact i have some spanish flys u could buy if u like
Jimbo Limbo (Trials Chimp)
The Spanish McFly's have simular lock to the CRV's but are a lot grabbier. Thats the only real difference I noticed. They are both useless in the wet. One thing I have noticed is that CRV's seem suited to the back and McFly's to the front, if you swap them around they don't work as well (Y) weirdness. andyzplace
don't bother with either. get the heatsink white v-pads. has them on my 24bmx for a while now and they are awesome. enough grip for stalls etc when you need it yet bags of modulation for manuals etc :( (i'm running a standard rim, no grind, no polish and they are just right)
