Mark W
No point in cheating in practise papers, seeing as that's completely pointless if you do? I don't mean that in a "Cheating's bad, m'kay?" way, just that if you don't get it you'd be better off just waiting and asking how to work it out or whatever. Plus, it means you can get away without doing the rest, then saying to your teacher you didn't do any of the rest 'cos it was too hard  Mark

echobikes
Shouldn't your teacher provide you with specimen results papers?

Drew
yeah...i want to know if i got it right- it's my exam, why would i want to cheat (Y) it sucks...but i successsully integrated 5x/((x^2 + 4) ^ 2) dx between x= 2 and x= 0 luvly.... :deej: anyone wants to try it...post your answer :deej:" - PM me for a clue.... adam ← Integral 5x/((x^2 + 4)^2)dx can be rewritten as Integral 2.5(2x(x^2+4)^-2 dx Now it's in the form (U^n)dU where U is (x^2 + 4) I reckon if you do the integration you get -2.5(x^2+4)^-1 = -2.5/(x^2 + 4) You want this between 0 and 2 so subbing the limits in you should get: -2.5 / 8 - (-2.5 / 4) = 0.3125 or 5/16 Really hope I've got this right - currently trying to revise for engineering finals! Good luck. Drew
Tomm
I wish I could remember maths stuff. I know I had to do all that shizzle a couple of years ago, but I'll be darned if I can do it now (Y)

Bionic Balls
drew..you were spot on :deej: my clue was going to be to use substitution..but you saw that coming :D nice...which year of engineering are you in? Boon is only jealous (Y) And it is my last day of school this week so there isn't much time for asking my teacher :deej: thanks for help, especially wing adam

I'm not trying to discredit the achievment though, it's definately worth working hard for as an A (like mine :deej:" ) looks very good on university applications and a lot will offer you bursaries for multiple A's. And also prospective employers are also impressed. Good luck mate, you'll need it!
