tipus
Hi. I'm from norway and i'm going to london in the summer. And since it's so fookin expensive here in norway, i would like to visit some bike shops in london. Do any of you know about some good shops i can visit? A shop with good assortment and reasonable prices? Thanks  Edited May 16, 2005 by tipus

Tartridge
Are you looking for trials parts/components? If so, you'll have a hard job finding them at normal bike shops

Nothing beats norway in price  :P The assortment is so bad, and expensive. I'm also buying some parts for my friends. :D So they don't need to get their wallet raped :P Edited May 16, 2005 by tipus
N.Wood
Both Bromley Bikes and Evans' are pretty poor for trials bits. I would have thought your best bet would be to have some stuff delievered to your hotel/mates/relative's address from some mail order companies
ScotchDave
Why don't you taqlk to tartybikes or the like, pay for the stuff and then have it delivered to wherever your going to stay.

There are 2 stores in Waterloo, one is right opposite Waterloo East station (find the MacDonalds, walk acorss the road, there is a Sainsbury's, and it should be staring you in the face!) and the other is just round the corner :D
tipus
Yeah! Thanks. I would take a look at the Evans store :S  Are they cheap? :D Edited May 16, 2005 by tipus

tipus
I'll take that as a no :S It's probably cheaper then norway anyway  Edited May 16, 2005 by tipus
N.Wood
I'll take that as a no :- It's probably cheaper then norway anyway :S ← Yeh take a look, they'll be chaper than Bromley Bikes anyways... :turned: And from Victoria to Bromley South station is about half an hour on the train, and then you've got a walk up Bromley highstreet and along the road to the bike shop, so it's relitively far compared to the various Evans stores dotted around London. There should be a map on their website, try Evanscycles.co.uk or something similar :)

ScotchDave
I still think that finding out where your staying and ordering from a mail order shop is the best idea. :turned:
