Many people Snap Or Cracked T Pro?

Recommended Posts

There has been hundreds Crack/Snap. Mine was a lucky one thats didn't.

They crack on the downtube under the gusset. Also the First Version cracked on the Chainstays but the gusset sorted that out.

Also the threads in the BB area and the brake mounts arnt the strongest. So keep and eye out for that.

Hope this helps,

Scotty

also when u say the threads on the brakes and BB area are weak, what exactly do you mean? My bb came loose last night and am going to tighten it when i get home from work

Threads weak my arse, I really love it when people give this shit when they hear of someone stripping something probably by them being r-tard fisted when putting said bolt/bb in frame.

Your t-pro will last you ages. And if it does break you get a half price crash replacment from onza. I think you can get that off another frame too, for example you bust your t-pro and get a t-mag half price (i think).

I have one of the original ones (one of the first with the coust sigs on it), and its still going fine *touches wood*

Thought there was a hairline crack starting on the top tube gusset, but i don't think that it is.

Ohwell, will just get another 1 when it finally decides to go

Mine was around 9-10 months old, with a few heinous dents on the downtube. These were also hit repeatedly (I manage to only dent my frame in 3 places, but kept hitting it on the dents :S). I wouldn't call that too bad, really. It just cracked around the top of the weld on the down-tube, between the top- and the down-tube weld. I had to cut the BB shell out of the frame, hence the bits of frame lying around. Got the new one for £90, but my BB keeps coming loose and my headset bearings are raped, so I've barely had a chance to play on it

Also, aren't BB threads stripping more of a problem of people putting them in badly?

Approximately 99.354723%, yes.

Could be be a bit more accurate?

You only strip threds if your cack handed, i have never stripped the threds in my BB, apart from the time when i was getting realy fustratde with it (like you do) and cross thredded it, which was my own fault.

The t-pros seem to be going good, the reason that they seem to brake alot is that alot of people have them, so there are more to brake.

:S
