Watson©
Everyone that owns either an Pitbull 05 or Python 05 check for cracks around the brake mounts  As I want to know if there is any other people with the same problem. zoojames
What you guys going to do then? You can ride em till they snap which could hurt or you have to dish out for another frame B) I feel sorry for you both! Thats the only problem with trials, some times frames just come out wonky or something :P Sorry guys! And James, your about as smooth as my ass son :P James
Sponge
Shite, this is really annoying me too, I can't check up the Python till Sunday B). I hope to hell mine doesn't crack near the 4 bolt mounts too :P But I bought off Tartybikes, so if there is anything wrong... then I can at least have a replacement of some sort  This is really annoying, please everyone ask all of their friends who own Pitbulls and Pythons 2005 versions, if they have cracked it on the brake mounts. Brisa
The guy that started the post seems to be going a bit big according to a picture in the site pics vids section. Bikerwatson seems to be going quite big these days too according to a video I have seen so hopefully someone like me who doesn't have the balls to go big should be ok with a putbull. TrashZen
no ive just got in i will get some pics tomorrow when its light Pauly ← OK, not trying to take advantage of your bad luck or anything...but if you can send me a pic too... I am compiling a webpage of all cracked or Trashed parts, just as a reference...could be interesting all of you guys... B)" Then if I have a lot, I will organise this mini morgue by bicycle parts or brand, for easy searches... :P
SCOTTY___
if i cant get a new frame i think i'm just going to quit i mean we pay good money what we work hard for, for a decent frame we expect to be strong enough for trials use and it goes and brakes i think bmxing is becoming a tempting option now  thanks for any help Pauly ← Don't you dare quit! Your an awsome rider! So just get ahold of Craig Or Neil and they will tell Deng. He should sort things out. Craigs 05 Python is fine, I always give it a thorough check for cracks as i have a habit of finding them, but those frames never have one! I just wont to laugh when i find one! And i checked Yesterday 15.5.05. Anyway Paul. Was hoping to see you at the Sheaf ride on the 22nd. But wont now. Sorry Pal. Scotty

I don't do stupidly big drop gaps etc, or if I do it's reasonable size ones which I usually land smooth as f**k... my Zebdi lasted longer than the Pitbull lol... Well hopefully I can get a hold of Tim to get a replacement so I can another another Pitbull as I think mine and Pauls where just a dodgy batch or something as we both got them from X-Street at the same time which where one of the first Pitbull's in Britain ( except Neils and Craigs ) and they both near enough cracked at the same time... where as the 04's Pitbull's last ages and ages and take a hell of a beating, now there's something dodgy there  I'll just have to wait and see... I tried phoning Tim twice so far today but no answer B) Watson

Scotty ← hmmn well i kind of have a plan im going to try and gewt a replacement and if i can i will sell a new pitbull for £300 because i will want it gone and if i cant im going to get it welded and sell my current frame for summit like £100 so i can put it towards a toxsin frame that my mom said she would pay half for my birthday. im weird once a frame dies on me i simply cant trust it again so im going to try soething new as i did when i cracked my echo in the same place cheers Pauly
Simon
"So Called". Not being funny, but how many pitbull's have been sold, and how many have cracked, let alone snapped. As far as i know, yours two are the only ones. That's just the '05 ones, because i also believe not one 04 has gone. I think tunni twisted his in the end, but not one has cracked or snapped, but feel free to put me right if im wrong. Pictures would help though.
picki
is that a monty 231 26" i did the exact same thing to my cranks on that bike...bloody crappy sugino things. Did these snap where them plates are welded? Just wondering, posibility that there isnt any movement in the rear triangle so it went bang? unlucky

AdamR28
Cheers for pics. Don't suppose you do a lot of blunting (coming backwards off stuff) with the brake on? Either way, looks like theres not been enough heat, and the weld hasn't actually got 'into' the seatstay. I should think that will be replaced.
