onza t-bird
I think that almost everyone on the forum would buy one due to it being very low maintenance + cheap, a T-SHIRT you would need to wash, iron etc. and as much as i would like to wear mine every day it wouldn't be possible whereas a band you could just put on and leave. If everyone on the forum bought one each at £2 money raised would be: £5888 Joe
TomN
I think purple would be a better idea. As far as I'm aware, there are no charities with purple wrist bands associated to them at the minute. If people see us with pink wristbands on, they will just assume that they're for breast cancer. We all know that DJ liked purple too, so why not? ← Well our teacher got his bands in purple saying "dare to dream" very good idea seeing it's the rage of this year. UrbanPoet
A tee shirt isn't realy that much money, i mean come on it's only £12, and a tee shirt has a use, where as the band is just a band. ← I see what you mean, but you can wear the band all the time and people will be reminded of DeeJ everyday, not just once a week or so when you wear the tee. I'd definately buy a band and maybe buy a tee.

bigman_lil_bike
just been on that site and if you got 1000 medium sized saying 'fluffy bunny movement' ( longer than Rip dj or similar) it costs $15 each. so that around £9?? id be willing to pay that..... ← Not sure if i was looking correctly but if i was your maths is well out! For 1000 bands they come in at $1.50 each! + $0.25 if you have more than 14 letters (per band) + $0.25 if your want different colour not listed (per band) and at a guess $1.50 = £0.90 so if you sold 1000 at £3 each would mean around £2100 going to DJ fund thats a lot! EDIT: Beaten to it " Edited May 16, 2005 by bigman_lil_bike

Brian Bleech
What about some pin badges aswell? the little 25mm ones i mean, ← ooohhh badges  I would buy a band thingy or two B) Purple is good because if we got pink everyone would think we are supporting breasts. I say keep them simple like 'ride in peace' on one side and ' For DJ' on the other, or something. though you could probably make a few 'designs' mike
Smo™
I'd buy one definately, I reckon if they were black with 'flufflybunnymovement' written in pink (using that swirly font) they'd be ace.
zoojames
Basicly I'd buy one whatever the colour, just to go with my shirt :P aslong as we could get them out there then I really dont think the colour matters its just another way to remember a friend  Nice one Brisa :P James B)
Brisa
£321.92 would be the price for 200 bands including international postage with 'RIDE IN PEACE DJ' and on the other side 'FLUFFY BUNNY MOVEMENT' on the other. Each band is around £1.60 in price to buy including post. Then it would cost on average 40p per band to send, this is taking into consideration an envelope costing around 10p and 1st class post around 30p. On one band you would be making around £2.00 and if all that batch of 200 sold you have £400 which is quite a contribution to the DJ fund. Pre ordering with cash up front would be a good way to go about it as then no funding out of your own pocket would be needed.
minitrialer
great idea, as they are so cheap about 90% of the forum would buy at least one i would probably buy 2. It would make more money than t-shirts, i might get a t-shirt as well. Great idea! Lil Dan

rocktrials
ive seen like mixed colours like the black and white anti rascist, so why not something like: purple/pink black/pink black/purple like with purple writing in the black and vice versa? pink/white purple./white
roozor
I say ask the company if you can get a special custom one, all black with pink writing ^_^
forum mum
I have spent all night looking into this band idea (purple with R.I.P. "DJ" on one side and F.B.M. on the other and am waiting on an e:mail back. However it looks almost a goer but it will need full support even at £2.50 each, if it is to contribute towards the memorial fund. The real tough bit is it may be 3-4 weeks before we get them, but on the plus side they should be offered with other items ( DJ stickers, pink bunny stickers, and bunny badges ) I will keep you updated, Cheers for your support (I miss him so badly you cant imagine how much it hurts) (Y) :P :deej: :) :deej: :deej: :D :- :)
TomR
They sound pretty cool, and 4 weeks isnt too bad, all be here in time for the summer.
