STEVE-0
Has anyone tryed to weld them the wrong way on the rear brake. or would it not work space wise, or cause to much stress on the frame. ← Well firstly it would be the opposite, away from frame and if you put them on your chainstays, there wouldn't be much room for anything and it would mess up the chain and the chain stays would also suffer alot of stress. Sam Nichols
So Adam, you said the brake is good on the reverse of the fork... But is it better? I'm very interested ^_^ Sam

I'm very interested ^_^ Sam ← Yes, it is deffiantly better than what it was with the mag on the front of the forks, much stiffer as well, due to being closer and bolted to the frame in more points. Ali C
If you did it the wrong way on the rear brake ie. under seat stays it would actually make the brake worse because the pads would be draged away from the rim. Leeson made a frame with brake mounts on the seat stays but there was no real gain over having then on your seat stays ^_^ ← I think brakes on the underside of the seatstays would be good, you need the brake to work most when you are on the edge of soming after hopping up onto it, so the bikes wanting to go backwards, the same direction as the brakes work best. Someone should try it. Although there would still be a big problem on space. The chainstays would most probably have to be lengthened and the stand over height heightened to allow for it to ever happen.
