JTM
I cant be arsed to post about each incident, but Ive been pulled 6 times since august........ 4 times I was already stopped....... One time I had a brake light out so fair enough, the other 5, a total waste of my time Ive had my fingerprints taken as I was 5 miles from my house and the police man considered that "Not im my own area" hmmmm yes...... After the way ive been treated and the fact that there are SO MANY real crimes happening in my area, Ive got no time for the police at all. Oh look my cars pretty old and I have no hair, criminal.....
Michael Hardman
A friend of mine crashed his car into a tree in some woods (by the side of the road). Car was a write-off, so he just went home and came back the next day with the tow-truck to take the car away. No more damage to the tree than a bit of missing bark... Anyway, a couple of weeks later, he gets a note through the door. A court summons for 1. Failing to report an accident 2. Leaving the scene of an accident 3. Criminal Damage (The Farmer who owned the tree was sueing for damages to the tree (Y) ) Stupid red tape everywhere in this country. But at least he got away with it. Farmer dropped charges for some reason. ← I have a picture somewhere of a coming together of a car anda tree, car was doing 150plus the pictures quite interesting. Trees are very very strong. JT!
Also a while back i got pulled for driving whilst using a mobile phone. £30 fine. ← Good. A friend of mine crashed his car into a tree in some woods (by the side of the road). Car was a write-off. ← Thats exactly what happend my mate Tom. But he was pronounced dead at the scene. (Y) My dad has just got pulled about 10 meters away from the house B) , the copper was convinced he was on druggs / pissed, even searched the car. But it was his blood sugar level which was on 1.9% that was making him swerve about a bit :) Edited May 14, 2005 by JT!
matthewholdsworth
before i start this is slightly (Y) but it made me laugh/burn with anger at the same time. yesterday as a break from essay writing and revision i went out on the street infront of my house sidehopping up my front wall, gapping to the curbs etc when a police car pulled up and said "should you be doing that??" i explained that i was only riding on my house wall and the curbs not on anyone elses property. they went on to say that they had complaints about the noise, which i can only assume was my brake (plaz pads on a fresh grind - mmmmm nice noise). so i said ok fair enough, nothing i can do about that but if someone had have come out and told me they were being irritated i would have stopped. i told them i thought it was a waste of resources sending a car out for this. here comes the funny bit, they said it was a quiet time of the day and, in not such simple terms, that they had nothing better to do. i had two bikes stolen last year, they could go look for them!! rant over :)
LEON
If you dont drive like a willy, you wont get pulled................... ← Bollox, ever been on a motorbike? Any excuse and they will pull you. LEON
CH!P
Cops are wankers, like said, they will motorcyclists for any reason they can and the amount of money they make out of people with speed camera's etc is stupid. A bloke who comes into our shop got 3 points and a £60 fine for doing 33 in a 30... 33! Cop's are tosser's, end of. (Although the one that pulled me was kewl and yes it was my own fault... and yes I have learned... and no, I'm not proud)

I can't stand it when people are going over round-a-bouts one handed. zoojames
I hate people going around on the phone, I've seen one silly moo with her left hand on her phone to her right ear whilest driving...I just made a bit of a gesture to her...Oh well I hope she got pulled for it! Can't wait to drive B) I'm going to try and abide by the speed limit for 2 years...so won't be driving with Fred, Tic, Alex... Tomm
Oh thats not too bad then. I can't stand it when people are going over round-a-bouts one handed. :S ← I drive one-handed most of the time anyway. Phones are bad when you look at the screen to dial/text, not because you have to hold them in one hand. Having said that, you are supposed to drive with two hands on the wheel all the time  I know some one who was sat in a traffic jam, sneezed and let off the clutch and flew into the car infront, ← Woman driver? sfboy
There was a question on my theory test asking when you have to report an accident and it was only if someones property/ street furniture was damaged or if someone gets injured. wierd. Having said that, you are supposed to drive with two hands on the wheel all the time  Woman driver? ← Same. I can't drive with both my hands on the wheel now, it just seems really uncomfortable. The only time I ever have both hands on the wheel is when I'm going round a tight corner or a roundabout or something. I've not been pulled yet. I'm sure it'll happen one day though.
