Josephine
Right due to me having torn a bicep and not being able to ride at all for the next month or so, I'm in the process of eBaying a unicycle as it only needs one arm to do :S http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...7154524446&rd=1 ^^^ That's the beast I've put a bid on :S I was shocked by how cheap they come on eBay Any of you guys ride these contraptions? Any advice? Obviously I'm gonna change tyre and probably pedals... Cheers, Joe
Tomm
Hey. I have tried to ride one briefly, but it doesn't work. It's too f**king hard and I gave up. I suppose if you were committed and you really wanted to learn, you'd be able to. On the other hand mink (housemate and trials rider) is pretty good on his unicycle (See our video) . I'm sure you don't need to change the tyre/pedals for a while. Have fun.

Danny
9.62 postage, nice. ← Judgeing by how much ive spent at the post office at the last week (£6 motherboard - £5 disk brake - £9 watercooling - £2 120mm fan) thats quite good.

thegoofeedude
Cool man, I ride unicycle too. Just throw yourself on it as much as you can and don't be afraid, and you can learn quickly I think. I rode a wobbly 50 feet after about 3 days of practice, and it's been all improvement from there :- . Check out http://www.muniac.com for some tutorials and few video clips, it's a pretty neat site. Oddly enough, I can trials on my unicycle pretty well, hop in place, all that jazz, but I still can't do a proper pedal kick on my Monty X-Alp :"> That's why I think you will catch on pretty quick. At least for me, backhopping was harder to learn than unicycling.
Has anyone seen my shoe?
I'd get one if I didn't live on a huge hill... Sodding Pennines. ← Sorry this is a bit off topic but when did you become a member again?

They are really good fun too ride, only one problem and the problem may not affect you, I have large curly hair and well, I always get called a clown lol. Im not bothered really itsa just anoying, also random people make jokes about you, which is okay when your first learning but when you get pritty good on them, being able to do 360 bunny hops and hop on and of walls I carnt see why they do it. I can't ride the damn thing, but it's really easy to do hops on the spot :-
Olly C
It took me about a few days to get it properly, I can now 180, 360, pedal kick up, rolling up (alot harder to learn) Sidehop to crank, Crank to "back" wheel. One thing I didn't get was riding backwards for some reason, didn't try it too much though. You will probably want to change your tyre soon enuff, if you've got a mod use an old worn down 2.0 tyre, I used a monty and it worked a treat :- Cheap pedals will get smashed up but stick to plastic at first, and keep the cranks tight (Y) Olly.
