MikeSmith
HI, I've been looking for a cyclocross bike for some time now. I was wondering whether anyone knew of any shops or places i could get one? Or do you have one for sale? Thanks Mike

Simon
Call me dumb, but that road bike and the XO bike look the same? What on earth is XO for a start, and what makes the bikes different to road bikes? Sorry to thread steal, but i've never heard of XO before. Tartridge
what makes the bikes different to road bikes?← - Knobbled tyres. - Cyclocross bikes usually have cantilever brakes, or Vs, or discs (better mud clearance). Other than that, not much! 'XO' is just Treks Cyclecross bike... like a ZOO 'Pitbull', for example...
Sam Nichols
Frames are different too... Usually tweaked geometry as you don't wanna be right down low in a full on road race position if your riding offroad. Also the frames have laods of clearance around the chain/seat stays and the forks to allow for wider tyres and lots of clearance. The frames are a lot stronger than road bikes too, and usually a wee bit heavier because they have to be able to take more abuse (Y)
