onza t-bird
Hi has anyone had any experiences of this type of t-mag frame: because I am thinking of buying one as you can pick them up fairly cheap now? But i just want to know if anyone has had any good/bad experiences with them? cheers Joe (Y)
TomN
i had one. Thought it was good, rode nice with odd upgrades ie bar and stem, but mine did started to crack under headtube.
JT!
My mate snapped two of them... (Y) But they were the top bike at one time, well the t-master was anyway.
Has anyone seen my shoe?
From what I have heard they are a bit snap happy by the headtube area. If you can get them for cheap go for it. Thanks, Callum
Simon
If they don't snap, they bend. Chainstay will bend to the right. Driveside way, where the main force is put when blunting and such like. See a connection? (Y) If you can get it cheap, then fine, but don't expect it to last over 8 months.
TheMunn
Yeah, a friend of mine had one and he bent it, rode it some more and cracked it. Never mind, I think if you can get one in good enough condition then you should get one, nice to ride those bike are.
ian
my opinion of it is its too short but thats because i was a stock rider that changed to a mod and i hated it for the 2 months i had it.
Luke Drewery
In my opinion they are horrid frames, short, look crap and snap easy. My mate has gone through two, one at the headtube and one at the chainstay :( :)
Waynio
chainstays are best (Y) :) you can higher the b/b on them by doing sidehops to the left and right for a day.... you could go plus 10-30mm if you wish. at the time they were a great bike but now witha ll the new technology of frame making and design there is so much stuff better out there. if your a light rider then ye, but if your a heavy street rider id be saying no.
