henri estonia Posted May 6, 2005 Report Share Posted May 6, 2005 Well i few weeks ago i bought a race face deus headset because i thought it is one of the strongest out of hope and king but know it is been a big dissappointment it is making really loud pinging and cracking noises like the bearings are gone but it is still smooth. so do you guys think could i fix it or whats wrong with it, or should i just send it back and say its poo and get a king?? thanx Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Brisa Posted May 6, 2005 Report Share Posted May 6, 2005 It just makes sure all the surfaces of your headset are flat and parallel to your headset alloing for a nice fit. spider Posted May 7, 2005 Report Share Posted May 7, 2005 (edited) as a bike mechanic i have to tell you that you need to take the caps out and put some lock-tite on it and press it back. i think it will help. good luck.
