DaiTrials
Hey can you all post here what you think the best V-brake is for trials. and also the best lever and pads. I've been advised to get a single digit 7, with the digit 7 lever, and jagwire pads. If anyone has a better combination I should conside let me know. Janson
XTR arms, XTR lever, Nokon Cable, Plazmatic CRV/V-fly pads, or Coustellier pad in Plazmatic CNC holder, with XTR booster and ground rim. Maybe Avid Ultimate arms instead of XTR, if you don't want the parallell push system. The Single Digit SL are a waste of money, if you want cheaper, get SD7. Andy Vox
Avid rim wrangler pads are awesome on a smooth rim, lock up really nice! Xtr brake all the way!
ScotchDave
I have, xt arms and lever with a pair of lx pads. Lock up isn't amazing, but that's my choice because my old pads squealed tooo much.

mad_gavo
Me and fred experimented with his front V (avid SD5 arms and lever i think (Y) ) we put on some Fibrex XTR cartridge pads with the red insert and gave his mavic rim a light grind. The lock and power of the brake was actually amazing although the modulation was some what lacking ;) Not to sure weather he is still using this setup or not but if he sees this post im sure he will reply cheers Gavin
