I was just wondering, why did some people feel the need to vote for the Nazi party??? :) I know of at least one other member of this board asking the same questions. (Y)

I know you have a right to your opinions, but I want to know why you have those opinions, so no arguing please. ;)"

Honestly, Every one wants a change of government really... Labour really do suck.

Lots of people switched to lib dem, which didn't help get labour out. If they had gone tory we would no longer be under Blair....... which i feel would have been good.

Lib dems ideas are not brilliant, i'm of student age but will be finishing so all the crap about unis just annoys me... should make less people go to uni, not make it easier and cheaper.

Libs have become too left wing these days, not really a government which would create a country to be proud of me thinks.

All governments will tax you, its how the uk works, Tax pays for things.... its just labour will spank it on silly crap like super schools for inner cities, which don't improve grades or behaviour. Or on community police officers which aren't real police. etc. etc.

I dunno, I may just go live in another country when i get older.

p.s. Yeah BNP are not a good party to vote for! no matter how xenophobic you may be!!

Today Blair says he's going to listen to his voters (Y)

Lets see if he does this time.

Hahaha, easily the funniest comment so far.

Yeah, I was all for getting rid of Blair, and at the start of the campaigning a Conservative vote was an option. However their campaign was so negative it really put me off. If they'd have pushed their policies more they might have got more votes, the only policy I really remember from them is that they want to restrict immigration, all the rest of their time seemed to be devoted to reminding people of how untrustworthy Blair is (as if anyone needs reminding). Plus they sacked Boris, which was never going to be a good move, he has the most charisma of any MP ;)

I voted Labour, but my constituency's Conservative, and by a large Margin, d'oh ;)

Kinda wish I voted Lib Dem, as at least that would show some support and perhaps go a bit further toward making it more of a 3 party system.

Either way, the whole way the voting works still pisses me off, why can't ALL votes be counted, and just have local campaigners for sorting out each constituency, and not have much to do with Parliament.

Bah, nothing can ever be perfect I suppose (Y)

I think that was the problem. To be a Conservative you have to be dull as dishwater, it would seem...

i agree that we are in need of a change.

the lib dems for some reason applea to most young voters, which is why they are constantly on the increase. If labour and the conservatives dont duck up their ideas they will find themselves in trouble.

I voted conservative, would usually vote lib dem but i wanted the labour bloke out so voted for the next nearest person.

Do you think if the Torys got a realy fit 19 year old girl to lead them instead of Michael Howard, they would be so much popular? Serious question.

There isn't a Nazi party. If you're implying the BNP is a Nazi party then that's quite an assumption isn't it? You're quite the biggot aren't you.

I'd rather like to keep control of our economy rather then hand it over to a bunch of undemocratic overpaid euro-monkeys. Especially as it is in much better shape then the economies of european countries. Not to mention that its just another step towards a european state.

Thank you. You just made my post much shorter.

I really love Europe, and the shite currency they possess. Hence the fact UKIP are my vote.

The rest are a bunch of children in suits shouting at each other.

"Mr Blair did this, Mr Blair sadi that" Instead of slagging each other off, try telling us what you're gonna do for ME. not on the whole, I want to know what I'LL gain.

They're all wankers IMO

1 UKIP Policy I remember is "Cut £30 million on Europe spending, give £25 extra towards pensions" Let's say around 20 Million people pay tax. So they remove 30 million which goes upto 500 million. Good game.

It's an absolute disgrace that they should take away the pound coin!  It's a symbol of this country and I'd rather die than use "euros".  Bloody foreign-lovers in Whitehall, we should kill them all.

/sarcasm.

Seriously, do you know about the effect that being part of the single currency will have, or do you feel some kind of alliegance to the pound coin?

1 Country with the Euro goes up the shitter they drag us with them.

Also the pound is a stronger currency, so why not keep it.

On the BNP thing, alot of people just want the ILLEGAL immigrants out, and they don't see anyone doing it well so they move to extremist parties.

Not really, the leader of the NAZI party often goes to Neo Nazi marches and Rallies, he is a racist willy. I'm jewish I despise everything they stand for.

They feel their better than other people, I don't like that.

I think the reason labour are still in power is because everyone wanted them out.

They all thought 'Im not going to vote for labout 'cos Tony Blairs a knob....'

'Right so we've got the conservstives....... errr no and the Liberal Democrats......'

'I would vote for them but since no one else is im going to have to stay with Labour'

Thats what I think won it.

'No one else is going to vote for them so my vote wont make a difference.'

If everyone who intended to vote non labour voted for Lib Dems they would have won easliy.

Thanks,

Callum

Really? Prove it? :S

Think Israel then think Palestine…

To be honest, i don't agree with the BNP policies either - but the assertion that they are affiliated with the Nazis is somewhat unfair. It stands to reason that people that did/would vote BNP might take offence at this association.

They are affiliated with nazis though, their leader attends neo nazi rallys.

Also on the israel thing, during the first world war the brits herded up all the germans and dumped them in camps as enemy aliens. During the second war they did it too, with jews included. It was ok because it was for safety and it was war time.

Israel is and has been at war with terrorist organisations pretty much since it's foundation. They have done the same as britain did yet they get slated. Fair? I think not. :S

Your historical interpretations are about as accurate and colourful as those of Mel Gibson. Well done.
