spunkey_monkey_boy
heres my valutaion of the parts, the bikes not worth enough to sell complete, sorry to sound harsh mate but it doesn't look special and looks is what sells bikes, not spec... 70% mint condition DMR Sidekick Frame £75 XT BB £with frame Pig Headset £5 Azonic DW bars £10 Hope Mini Front brake £65 Hope Enduro 4 Back £65 Hope Bulb Rear hub on D521 Rim + DT spokes £65 Hope XC Front on X517 + DT spokes £35 Kujo DH Tyres F+B (new) £15 DMR V12 pedals £15 XT Rear Mech £10 DMR Chain tensioner devices £20 f+r XT Gear Shifter £10 2001 Marzocchi forks £100 FSA Cranks £30 Planet X seat £10 thats £530 at best and thats only if you split, i dont know anyone who'd buy that bike full for that money. i'd expect to end up getting about £450 for the bits but you might get lucky and get £550... ←
RyanRs
na, i didnt spend that on it.. my mate did in 2002. his bike got nicked and the insurance brought him that bike but with DMR side kick forks on it and d521's on XT hubs and v-brakes. the recipt showed the bike cost total of £1000. then he brought the forks for £375 when they were new out and the hope wheelsets / brakes. and the azonics. the brakes back when they came out wer like £130 for the enduro, £110 for the mini, and lookin at £250 for the wheels. so thats total of £1760 actually! RyanRs
heres my valutaion of the parts, the bikes not worth enough to sell complete, sorry to sound harsh mate but it doesn't look special and looks is what sells bikes, not spec... ← Yea, thanks mate! i think if i do decide to sell it all, ill split it. but it is a nice bike, i mite even just get a new 'up to date' frame for it and keep it? dont no yet. if anyone is interested in any of the parts at the prices spunkey_monkey_boy said, could you please leave some feedback, and if i get enough, ill consider splitting it. (obviously there may be some small P&P on some parts, but im not OTT with P&P -unlike folkstone Matt!) although, i would like no less than £20 for the azonics as they are Brand new warrantee replacements and have not been used (£38 new) Ry (Y) Edited May 5, 2005 by RyanRs
spunkey_monkey_boy
you'll be lucky to get much for the azonics because the DW's seem to have a habit of snapping so they're not wanted by many people... if you split give me a shout about the tyres, chain guide and headset... Caleb
Spunky munkey boys price list looks spot on for average prices of those patrs (Y) . I have the sma eframe and just wondering is the irc the widest tyre you got in there? Im struggling with a tioga 2.3 r (Y) a bald one at that so it needs replacing and might be putting an irc or summit on there so just wondering :D

If i buy a pitbull frame, then buy a echo control frame, that doesn't mean the bike is now worth 895. Tom's values look the best, except you may get more for the wheels, but apart from that. Danny
The forks look like Z1 Dropoffs to me as they look identical to my mates ones. And they only cost about £300.
MadManMike
Full bikes lose value as soon as the pedal is turned mate. Split it, and you may get more than the full bike, it's a pain in the rear to sell all the parts though when you could flog it as one. I'd sell the whole bike for convenience, depends how much you need / want the money.
Trials Star
I say, clean that up and everything, polish it etc.. then bung it on Ebay, MBUK or bike magic.com and i would say maybe 250 - 300, does it ride nice? everything working ok though? Ash ← But it loses value, i think as this is quite old and you can get a decent trials bike for £500, someone isn't going too spend £500 on this, not saying its crap or anything because it isn't but never ever will it be worth £500, £300 at least......
